Millers' Misfit Farm welcomes you to the farm. The space was originally built into the house as a mother in law's quarters. There is a separate entrance with porch, full kitchen with pantry, one bedroom with queen sized bed and a walk in closet, one queen hide a bed couch in the living room, and one bathroom with shower. In the yard is a seasonal firepit. The apartment is kept critter free for those of you with allergies. Come stay with us and enjoy the beauty of Central Oregon! The space This was designed as a mother in laws' quarters. There is a pass though door to our living room, but you have separate entrances from us. There is an 8 in thick wall between us , filled with insulation so we don't hear each other. Guest access You will have the whole 500 square feet apartment to yourself! I must say again, we have animals on this property! The 2 dogs, Finnely, the Norwegian Elkhound and Gunnar, the large one that is Bernese Mountain Dog and Husky, are the reception committee. They will meet you at the gate. They bark and wag tails. This is THIER property, just ask them... however, they will let you in and will run around showing you the place they stashed the last treat at incase you need a treat as well! We are a working rescue farm. This farm is their safe place. This is why we must ask you not to bring other animals. Thank you for understanding and your cooperation. For your information, subject to change as more are added or pass away: Fin and Gunnar, dogs Romulus the Mule Jancy the horse Chester, mule Hannah Boo, donkey Epona, the Jacob sheep 3 cats, all indoors in our house: Hobbes, Gray-C, Grumpy And many different breeds of chickens. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE! If you are booking for 2 people, but will require 2 beds, please book for 3 people. That way we can have the bed made up for you on your arrival. We have a self check in with pass codes to the gate and entrance to the apartment. You will receive those a few days before arrival. Please beware this is a farm! It is a working farm! It has animals, and the animals on it make noise!! The loudest of which is Hannah boo the donkey who thinks that everyone must come and greet her 1st! The reason we point this out is, yes we have had complaints about the noise!!! The rooster, the chickens, and the mules and donkeys making noise! Not to mention the dogs! They have free run of the property. Fin and Gunnar will be the welcome committee at the gate. Please come to enjoy them!
