The authentic decoration of the place as well as the breathtaking views of the castle park will delight lovers of old stones and nature. The cottage is located in the heart of the Domaine des Deux Hêtres, which takes its name from its majestic purple beech trees that are several hundred years old. Guest rooms are also available. Possibility to combine. The space The accommodation can accommodate 6 people. Pets are allowed. The cottage consists of 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms/shower rooms: 2 double bedrooms with the possibility of separating the beds for one of the two and 1 bedroom with two single bunk beds. On the ground floor, you eat in a super-equipped kitchen and relax in a cozy living room with its open fire, all with panoramic views of the castle garden. From the living room, you have access to a private garden of 1500 m2 with garden furniture and barbecue. The garden is completely fenced to allow your pets to be safe. Upon request during booking and at no extra cost, the cottage will be equipped to accommodate your baby (high chair, crib, books, games, etc.). Linens and towels included. Other things to note After having breakfast while admiring the sunrise, many activities are available to you for the pleasure of young and old: the Pairi Daiza animal park (30 min), the Spark'Oh science museum (10 min), the Bavay archaeological museum (15 min), the Chant d'Eole and Agaises wine estates (15 min), the Royal Golf Club of Hainaut (20 min), the city of Mons and its wonders (15 min). Not to mention the beautiful walks through fields and forests to do on foot or by bike from the gîte. When you return to the gîte, you can enjoy the garden and the sunset to have an aperitif and a barbecue. Feel free to ask us for the right places to find delicious local products. The accommodation is 1 hour from Brussels and 1 hour from Lille.
