Unusual cottage in the right wing of an 18th century castle. Tastefully renovated old stable to comfortably accommodate 6 people. The authentic decoration of the place as well as the breathtaking views on the castle park will delight lovers of old stones and nature. The gite is located in the heart of the Domaine des Deux Hêtre which takes its name from its majestic beech trees for several hundred years. Bed and Breakfasts are also available. Ability to combine. The space The accommodation can accommodate 6 people. Pets are allowed. The cottage consists of 3 bedrooms and two bath / shower rooms: 2 double bedrooms with possibility to separate the beds for one of the two and 1 bedroom with two single bunk beds. On the ground floor, you eat in a super equipped kitchen and relax in a cozy living room with its open fire, all with a panoramic view of the castle garden. From the living room you have access to a private garden of 1500 m2 with garden furniture and barbecue. The garden is completely fenced to allow your pets to be safe. Upon request when booking and at no extra cost, the cottage will be equipped to welcome your baby (high chair, crib, books, games, ...). Sheets and towels included. Other things to note After having breakfast admiring the sunrise, many activities are available to you for the pleasure of young and old: the Pairi Daiza animal park (30 min), the Spark 'Oh scientific museum (10 min), the Bavay Archaeological Museum (15 min), the Chant d' Eole and Ages' wine estates (15 min), the Royal Golf Club du Hainaut (20 min), the city of Mons and its wonders (15 min). Not to mention the beautiful walks through fields and forests to do on foot or by bike from the cottage. When you return to the cottage, you can enjoy the garden and sunset to have an aperitif and have a barbecue. Please feel free to ask us for the right places to find delicious local products. And if you feel like going out, there is no shortage of possibilities in the area (gourmet restaurants, brewery, pizzeria, friterie, etc.). The accommodation is 1 hour from Brussels and 1 hour from Lille. Quick and easy access to all major brands for your groceries (Delhaize, Intermarché, Carrefour, Lidl, Aldi) as well as an organic store (By'o Genly), butcher shop, bakery, and many small local producers.
