Warm & Welcoming Family Home

Enjoy our relaxing and friendly family home which is located within the beautiful county of Shropshire and close to the town of Shrewsbury. Perfect if you'd like to visit Shropshire Hills area of outstanding natural beauty, the wonderful historic County town of Shrewsbury or work in the area. The space Our house is a mix of light and informal space and we hope offers a warm and relaxing base for your visit to Shropshire. We think it’s a great place to live and/or work, if required, and also get out and explore historic Shrewsbury or the beauty of Shropshire and it’s outdoors. The house has super fast Wi-Fi and also offers spaces and facility to work remotely if required. Three bedrooms (for up to 6 people) are available for use, all have double beds although one is a sofa bed in a small room. There are wardrobes and storage space in each of the 3 bedrooms. Downstairs there is a good sized open plan kitchen dining room and a separate lounge with TV and fire in which to relax in the evening. Guest access Two rooms - one bedroom and one small studio room (not listed in the details) will be inaccessible during your stay otherwise the whole of the house and large garden, with two separate seating areas, inc barbecue, is available for use. The house has all modern facilities with TV, Wi-Fi and a projector and screen if you want to have a film night. The kitchen is fully stocked with Fridge, Washing Machine as well as all cooking facilities and utensils and basic ingredients (eg herbs and spices) which you’d be welcome to use. There’ll also be tea, coffee and snacks on arrival. As we live in the property when we’re not travelling there’ll be food and drink for emergencies if required too. We also have a range of books and games that guests are welcome to use during their stay and a bar-b-cue (with briquettes) outside if the weather is nice. We also grow a variety of vegetables which guests are welcome to help themselves to once they’re ripe. Other things to note The house has modern central heating and a real effect gas fire which you’re welcome to use if the weather is cold (details will be available at the house and the host will demo on arrival). If you are staying longer than a week we will also arrange for someone to come and clean and change the bedding and towels if required and mow the lawn during your stay.
