Description
Built in 1690, Astra - Pyrgos Sareli 1690 is a carefully restored heritage mansion in the traditional village of Aidonia, Andros. Once a fortified stone tower, today it offers an authentic and tranquil stay within thick stone walls, elevated views and timeless architecture. With only four independent residences, the property provides privacy and a refined atmosphere, ideal for couples and cultural travelers who value history, silence and slow living over conventional hotel services. The space • Each residence is designed with respect for the 17th-century heritage structure — thick stone walls, traditional forms and panoramic views are constant throughout. • All units are adults only and ideal for couples or experiential travelers seeking privacy, calm, and cultural immersion. • Guests enjoy shared access to an outdoor swimming pool, Wi-Fi, and immediate proximity to nature and village paths — reinforcing the mansion’s slow-living, authentic ethos. • Our property deliberately avoids standard hotel classification and instead offers a heritage residence experience — where architectural aura, light, silence and place come first. Guest access Serenity Grand Residence is the most expansive residence within Astra, offering nearly 97 m² of heritage-driven space that balances openness with a feeling of refuge. Set within the historic stone house, it features a comfortable bedroom with double bed, a bathroom with shower, a well-equipped kitchen and generous living areas designed for slow, relaxed days and evenings. The residence’s generous proportions, tranquil palette and views over the village and sea bring forth the mansion’s ambiance of calm, while original architectural elements — such as thick stone walls and traditional forms — lend an authentic, timeless character. This residence is perfect for guests seeking privacy, serenity and an immersive heritage stay. Other things to note Adults only property. No children or infants are allowed.
