Each bedroom and bath are situated on a different floor. The dramatic first floor primary bedroom features a soaring four-poster bed and an attached master bath. On the upper level you’ll find a lovely loft bedroom with two twin beds, adjoining sitting room with open view to the dining area below, and private bath while the lower-level bedroom sports a queen-sized bed and quick access to a nearby hall bath. A queen sofa sleeper is available in the game room for the late-night players. Other must-mention home features include a fully-equipped galley kitchen, separate dining area and a cushy living room with central fireplace, all on the main floor. Here as in the rest of the home, furnishings lean toward hearty and rustic (leather seating included!). Outdoors there both a lower patio and upper deck, the latter sporting a handy gas grill and outdoor dining table. GUEST ACCESS You will have access to the Galena Territory Owners' Club and all it's amenities such as indoor and outdoor pools, game room, fitness center, gym, tennis and basketball courts, and more. THE AREA Galena IL has hundreds of unique gift and clothing shops, antique stores, art galleries and artist studios. It boasts a rich performing arts community, live music, gourmet delights, as well as a multitude of museums, wineries, historical sites and tours. There are opportunities to enjoy the outdoors golfing, skiing, playing tennis, boating, fishing, zip-lining, hiking, horseback riding, hot-air ballooning and much more. GETTING AROUND A car is necessary to see all that Galena and the surrounding area has to offer! Taxi, Uber and Lyft services are available. Guest access You will receive an email with the home access instructions as well as helpful information prior to arrival. Please read this E-Rental Agreement so you are acquainted with our terms and policies. Reservation Requirements A two-night minimum stay is required for all homes. If one of your requested nights is a Friday or a Saturday, the second night will be charged at the weekend rate. Holiday rates vary and may require a three or four night minimum. All reservations are subject to a one-time cleaning charge as well as state and local taxes. A 50% deposit is due at the time of reservation. The balance is due two weeks prior to arrival. Minimum age for a primary renter is 25 years. Maximum occupancies vary by home and are enforced. Check-in time is after 4:00 pm / Check-out time is by 11:00am If you are arriving after dark, we suggest you bring a flashlight to see street signs and unlit pathways. Arrival and Departure information will be sent to you prior to arrival and may also be found in the Welcome Binder within your rental home. Security Deposit A $300-$500 (varies by home) security/damage deposit is required for each stay. This deposit is returned following a satisfactory post departure walk through of the home. Amenities Access to the Owners’ Club amenities is a privilege extended to our guests. To gain access to the Owners’ Club, including the indoor and outdoor pools, each guest over 5 years of age will need to have a Galena Territory Proximity Card with them upon arrival. The cards are located either in the kitchen, or near the main door of your rental home. The Owners’ Club is located at 2000 Territory Drive. There will be a $75 charge for any proximity card not returned at check-out. Bath and Bedroom linens are supplied however it is recommended to bring your own beach towels for the pool or hot tub use. A limited amount of firewood is provided in homes with wood burning fireplaces at no charge. Pet Policy Under special pre-approved circumstances, a pet may be allowed. If your pet is approved to accompany you, there will be a $75 home cleaning fee assessed per pet (maximum of two pets allowed). You will be responsible for cleaning your pet waste prior to departure. Smoking Smoking is not permitted in any of our rental homes at any time. If you choose to smoke outdoors, please dispose of any tobacco waste responsibly. The Galena Territory Expectations Rental homes are available for the quiet enjoyment of area visitors. The Territory requires that all outdoor lighting must be turned off by 1:00am. Out of respect for our neighbors, we ask that you conclude your outdoor activities by 10:00pm. The Galena Territory Association Security Department has the ability to fine up to $1000 for inappropriate or loud behavior. Insurance We encourage all renters to purchase travel insurance in case unforeseen circumstances, accidents or other issues arise that may prohibit guests from traveling or fulfilling rental obligations. Liability and Indemnification Neither Tranquil Trails Vacation Rentals Inc., nor the homeowners, are responsible for any accident, injury, or illness that may occur while you are renting any home. All guests assume the risk of any harm arising from the use of any rental home. In addition, Tranquil Trials Vacation Rentals Inc. is not responsible for the loss of any personal belongings.
