This self-contained flat is in a lovely quiet location in Tuggeranong. It is fully furnished with a kitchen and all the things you need to have a relaxing stay. It is a well-designed property to take advantage of the seasons. It will be warm in winter if the curtains are kept open during the day and cools down lovely in summer if you open it up at dusk to let the fresh breeze in that arrives in Canberra then. We provide linen, towels, and soaps. The space This is a stylish and environmentally friendly one-bedroom flat with a full kitchen and bathroom - with its own access and parking. The property is not like an apartment that needs much air conditioning. In the summer, the cooling Canberra breeze that arrives around 6pm will make the place very comfortable. Leaving the blinds open in winter will allow the sun to heat the place up nice and warm. So, we hope you only need to use the air conditioning on really hot or cold days. Doors to common areas are wheelchair friendly. The sofa bed in the common area is queen-sized, and we ask that you always use the sheets supplied when using it. The well-equipped kitchen has marble countertops, an induction cooktop, and a full-size fridge. We supply the basics, and you can cook most things quite easily. Buses are close by with a local shopping centre at the end of the street. The Monaro highway provides a quick 20min drive to the city or access to head off to the snow fields. Our internet is fast and reliable - so you can easily do your remote work or stream a movie on your devices or phones. Guest access The complete flat is yours. Other things to note We do not accept bookings with children under the age of 12. We care about the planet so try to help out where we can. We ask you to consider keeping the air conditioner on lower settings - we have installed double-glazed windows and the place keeps nice and warm if you let the sun in during the day. We have also installed water-saving devices and ask you to have shorter showers to help minimise the impact on our waterways. We do not allow unauthorized visitors on site - so please do not use the space to host gatherings. EV charging is allowed but is not free so please discuss with us your requirements before plugging in.
