Skye-Fall

Welcome to Skye-fall, a new self-contained and generously spacious extension / guest suite which forms part of a beautiful home in the Sleat Peninsula in Southern Skye - commonly known as the ‘Garden of Skye’. Nigel, your host is on-site in the main part of the home. The guest suite is completely self contained. Situated in an elevated position, the property offers peace, comfort and tranquillity with spectacular views across the mountains to Beinn Sgritheall and the surrounding area. The space The Lounge The accommodation boasts a bright and spacious living area and is fully kitted out with 2 large comfy sofas with a 55” Flat screen TV and DVD player. Fitted with oak furnishings throughout, this provides a warm and cosy feel to the lounge and the upstairs. A spiral staircase provides access to the bedroom, with a light feature that gives a stunning and unique focal point. Enjoy relaxing over a meal and glass of wine at the dining table or al fresco on the outdoor seating area which is accessed through double patio doors from the lounge. There are board games, books and DVDs that are all included in your stay so please feel free to enjoy at your leisure. There is a ground floor toilet adjacent to the lounge which boasts mosaic glass under floor heating and new fitted wash basin and toilet. The Kitchen The modern kitchen is fitted with a brand new electric cooker and fan oven with a dish washer and microwave catering for all your needs. It has modern worktops with white oak kitchen units with lots of room for storage. There is a single fridge with freezer. The Bedroom A beautiful spiral staircase from the lounge leads you to a very large king-size bedroom with adjoining en-suite with his and hers wash basins. This room is spacious and very comfortable and offers lovely views of the surrounding countryside. The En-suite The en-suite is tastefully decorated with mosaic tiles and under floor heating. There are his and hers twin sink basins, and a modern shower unit and Grohe power shower unit. Bathrobes are also provided. Wi-fi Wi-fi is free and available to all guests. The outdoor patio area Patio doors lead to the outside picnic area which will allow you to enjoy the peace, tranquillity and beauty of the property and its surroundings. Parking A private parking space is also provided outside the suite. Skye-Fall Guest Book / Manual A copy of the Skye-Fall Manual will be available at Skye-Fall which gives you all the information that you need during your stay including telephone numbers/distances to the various tourist attractions/activities/restaurants and services that are close by. Guest access You are free to wander around the whole of the property to soak up the stunning views. Other things to note We have 4 wee cats who like to wander outside. They are Schubie, Tinkie, Kelsie and Meira. We would be grateful if you could look out for them driving slowly to and from the property, and please take care when entering or leaving your accommodation. There’s a sea loch within short walking distance where mussels are regularly landed and distributed to the islands top hotels and further afield. We are fortunate to have some of the islands top hotels close to the property. Noted for fabulous food and drink, great views, and entertainment. Registration Details HI-30123-F
