The space The apartment is located above our detached garage and features a full kitchen, a four-piece bathroom, and one bedroom with a comfortable double bed. Additional sleeping space includes two single beds that can be converted into a king—just let us know your preference before arrival. We live on the property and are available if needed, but we respect your privacy and aim to provide a quiet, relaxing stay. Guests are welcome to explore the walking trails and beachfront, enjoy the natural surroundings, and—if you’d like—meet our friendly resident dogs and say hello to the chickens. Guest access Guests have private access to the apartment and are welcome to enjoy shared outdoor areas, including the yard, beach, and dock. In winter, guests often snowshoe or cross-country ski on the frozen lake at their own discretion and risk, depending on conditions. Please use good judgment and check ice safety before venturing out. Other things to note Hosts have three children, a friendly dog and four cats who watch over the property. A flock of chickens occasionally free range in the yard.
