1597 Medieval Modern House

This expertly-restored and truly-rare 138m2 historical cottage house sits in the very center of Gent on the Lei river. It was built in 1597 and won a restauration award in 1989 and is a registered monument. It has a number of original features but has been updated to modern standards. This Medieval house has two charming waterfront bedrooms with original wooden beams and restored stained-glass windows, and one large waterfront living room with original, hand-carved bluestone fireplace.
