This cozy retreat is located on the Chain of Lakes. Our home features 3 bedrooms, 1 with a queen adjustable bed, 1 with a double bed and the other with a twin bunk bed. You can relax together and enjoy your favorite streaming services, curl up in front of the fireplace, or enjoy some of the best and most natural views on the lake from the chaise. Outside features a large fenced-in yard (no fence blocking the lake). You can go kayaking, fishing, or soak up the sun while lounging on the deck. The space Welcome to Bell's Cottage, nestled in the small lake community of Michigan Center on the outskirts of Jackson, MI. This is an open concept ranch home, we have lovingly updated without losing all of the charm. The centrally located kitchen has plenty of storage and all of the kitchen basics available for your use. The dining area has a rustic wooden table and bench, perfect for intimate meals with family or friends. Though we refer to our place as a cottage, you will have plenty of space to move around. There are 3 bedrooms, a spacious living room, a game room, and a large yard with a fence that you can fully close off from the street (fence does not block from entering the lake). While here, you will see an abundance of wildlife such as swans, geese, fish, various other birds, and maybe a few deer. Kayaks, paddle boat, and canoe are available seasonally. We are located minutes from Jackson, about 45 minutes from Ann Arbor, 20 minutes from Brooklyn (home of Michigan International Speedway), and so many other attractions such as golfing, wineries, and parks. As a guest, you can choose to stay busy with all of the available activities or just sit, relax, and enjoy the view. Dock will be removed Oct.15th No smoking or vaping of any kind on the premises. No parties or events. No unapproved guests. No pets. Please commit to respecting our neighbors and keep noise levels tolerable. If you fail to comply with these rules, you could be asked to leave. Thank you in advance. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire home except one closet and the garage. There is also full access to the shed. Guests can use kayaks, paddle boat, and canoe (they are stored Oct 31st until spring) Dock will be removed mid Oct. Other things to note Due to the size of our driveway we are not able to accommodate trailers, please keep this in mind before booking. If you have multiple large vehicles please reach out first to confirm your vehicles will fit. We prefer guests check in between 4pm-9pm if you know you will be checking in later, let us know so we can be prepared. Thank you.
