Lake Lovering is opposite (100 meters), access is complete, kayaks, swimming and winter, cross-country skiing and long walks on the lake. 1.5 km of forest behind the chalet. Very quiet. 30 minutes from Orford Park, 15 minutes from Magog. The space This is a chalet, not a luxury house! It is modest but warm, with modern comforts: dishwasher, Wi-Fi, washer-dryer, etc. There are two bedrooms. -- One master bedroom with a queen size bed. -- A 2nd bedroom, smaller, with 2 single beds. Depending on your needs, you can remove one bed, or even both, and convert it into a work desk. The Wi-Fi connection is very good. We have a TV (no cable), to which you can plug your computer. The living room is very bright, and from the main window, you can see the lake. The lake is about 100 meters away, on the other side of the private road. Behind the chalet, there is a forest of about 1.5 km, which starts 20 meters from the terrace (where we eat, have coffee in the morning and aperitif at the end of the day, where we sit to chat and listen to the birds). On the property, there is a swing and a fireplace -- in the evening, making a fire under the stars, even in winter, is great. It's very, very quiet and at night the sky is beautiful. The area is very peaceful, the neighbors are lovely and discreet. To get there, you will pass through a road with magnificent views. The region is simply heavenly. There are many possible activities: cycling on country roads, cycling in the forest, walking in the forest, walking in the mountains, swimming, kayaking, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, snowshoeing, car rides, wine route, scenic routes, etc. *** Do you have any questions? We rent it out when we can't come. So it's not an empty and impersonal place designed for rent, there are the things we live with on a daily basis, our books, our objects, etc. Of course, we make sure you have all the space you need. There is room for 4 without any problem, with the configuration of 2 adults and 2 children. The 4 adults configuration would be a little too much. For a few days yes, but in the long run it would be a lot. The living room sofa converts into a bed: 2 people can sleep there (if you have visitors for the weekend, for example). There's a pretty big garage next to the chalet, if you need to store stuff, we can work it out. The entrance is cleared of snow in winter.
