Located a 5-minute walk from the center of Blois and on the banks of the Loire, the fully renovated duplex apartment is equipped with all the comforts needed for a wonderful family exploration of the Loire Valley. You can see the Loire from its windows. It is on the 3rd floor with no elevator access Parking is free in the area. An electric charging station is available 1 minute from the duplex. Immediate proximity to all the necessary shops. The space The apartment is a fully renovated and new duplex on the 3rd and top floor. On the 1 st level, a bright living room with a fitted and equipped open kitchen. It has a view of the Loire through the windows. A bathroom with walk-in shower, sink and toilet. Upstairs large family room. The apartment has all the necessary equipment to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. You will find the essentials (tea, coffee, sugar, oil, vinegar, salt, pepper). The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, toaster and quality dishes. There's also a washing machine. Bed and bath linen is provided. The beds will be made upon your arrival. Large living room with seating area: sofa, TV, board games and games for children. Dining table for 4 people. There is also a 140 bed in this space if you prefer to sleep downstairs. The large family room has 2 90 cm beds on one side with a shelf, a baby bed and a 160 x 200 bed on the other side. A bedside lamp is available for each bed. Wardrobe with hangers and suitcase rack. The bedroom has 2 skylights with blackout blinds. The Loire à Vélo cycle path passes at the foot of the building! Option to have a separate garage at my place for motorcycles and bicycles. Bicycles (maximum of 2) may also be stored in the building’s secure hallway. Please let me know if you have any bikes before you check in. Possibility to rent a contiguous studio for 2 people on the same floor, subject to availability. Guest access The place is fully at your disposal. It is on the 3rd and top floor without elevator access. Other things to note The apartment is conveniently located for discovering the city of Blois (with the Royal Château de Blois, the Maison de la Magie, the Fondation du Doute, Denis Papin Staircase), as well as the Loire Valley and its Châteaux: Chambord, Chenonceau, Amboise, Chaumont-sur-Loire, Cheverny… Beauval Zoo is also 45 minutes from Blois. The "Loire by Bike" route passes at the foot of the apartment, for beautiful walks! In the immediate vicinity: bakeries, restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacy, banks… Public parking is a 2-minute walk away (Corderies parking lot). Blois-Chambord train station is 1.4 km/20 min walk away. A free shuttle connects the station to the apartment via the city center every 20 minutes (line N1, "Alliés" stop at the foot of the apartment).
