Cozy cottage apartment on a quiet, wooded lot in Normaltown, walking distance from funky bars and restaurants, and just under 2 miles from Sanford Stadium and the Georgia Theater. This one-bedroom, 1 bath, with kitchen and charming living area offers all you'll need for a quiet weekend or a longer stay. If you're traveling with kids, or just want to act like a kid, come play on our soccer field or basketball court, walk the trail in the back woods, or cozy up around our fire pit. The space Our cozy cottage is located on a lovely wooded lot at the back of our property. We live on the property and are always available if guests need us, but we do give people plenty of privacy. Guests enjoy a view of oaks, pecans, honey bees and plenty of birds through a picture window. The space boasts accents made from salvaged oak, black walnut and pine. We offer wifi and a kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, water heater, and toaster. We offer parking for 1 vehicle next to the cottage. Additional vehicles can park in the street in front of our house. We have six hens (very quiet, and fully contained in a run on the back of the property) and several honey bee hives. The bees should not be a bother unless you walk right up to their entrance (which is located about 20 feet behind the cottage toward the wood lot). They can be fun to watch through the kitchen picture window. We also have a 1/4 mile walking path in the back woods that starts across from the chicken coop. Guest access Guests will have the cottage to themselves. The cottage is a separate structure from our house, attached to the garage, with its own entrance and parking area. The back window looks out into a quiet, wooded lot, offering lots of privacy. Other things to note Please no guns or weapons on the property.
