Cozy cabin by the pond on 1850’s farm

Please READ before booking. This newly renovated cabin with self check in was once the milk house on this mid-19th century farm. The cabin, located on La Petite Ferme, is 8 miles from Bangor airport, 4 miles from the concert venue, and an hour’s drive to Acadia National Park. Spend the night stargazing from the fire pit while enjoying wildlife sightings, including deer and many species of birds. Tree and pond frogs will lull you to sleep after a retro Nintendo session or round of board game. The space This booking is for a fully private 300 sq ft. cabin located on La Petite Ferme, beside a pond, bordered by a large barn, fruit tree orchards, and a fire pit area. Our property is designed to provide a balance between rustic charm and modern convenience. Hosts live on site in the separate main house, which is about 50 yards away, but the property is designed for a contactless stay with self check in. *** PLEASE NOTE that a wifi connection is not a listed amenity. We have Verizon cell service, which works very well as an alternative. However, we have heard that ATT service can be spotty. Key features include: • A small loft, accessible by ladder, with a queen size bed • A queen size convertible couch • Kitchenette with hot plate, microwave, mini fridge, sink, and dishware • Full bath with tiled shower, Bluetooth speaker and bidet • Living area with TV, DVDs, retro Nintendo, books and games • Pond with fire pit and charcoal grill (no swimming or fishing in pond) This is a great spot to bird watch the over 100 species of birds identified on our property. Our property is located in a peaceful town on a main road providing convenient access to downtown Bangor, Orono, and many day trips.
