Description

Step off the mountain, sink into the brand-new hot tub, and let the Maine woods do the rest. This three-floor home sleeps 14 comfortably — perfect for ski trips, family reunions, and friend group getaways just 15 minutes from Sunday River and Mt. Abrams. In summer, the property is your base for hiking, mountain biking, golf, and local swimming holes. Bethel's Main Street — with bakeries, breweries, restaurants, and a gem museum — is five minutes away. The space SLEEPING: Five dedicated sleeping spaces mean everyone gets a real bed. Two king bedrooms offer privacy and comfort for adults who need it. A queen bedroom rounds out the main sleeping floor. The bunk room fits the crowd with two queens and two twins — great for kids, teens, or anyone who doesn't mind a little summer-camp energy. And the loft has a daybed and trundle for overflow or the early risers who want their own quiet corner. THE GAME ROOM: Downstairs is where the group really lives. Pool table, ping pong, foosball, and a dedicated bunkroom — so the fun doesn't stop when the lifts close, the rain rolls in, or someone just needs a break from the cold. This is the room that keeps a 14-person trip from turning into 14 people staring at their phones. OUTSIDE: The backyard is private, wooded, and genuinely quiet. Gather around the fire pit after dinner, grill on the BBQ, or spread out on the oversized deck with your morning coffee while the trees do their thing. Après-ski means hot tub steam rising into the pines — brand new and worth every minute after a long day on the mountain. INSIDE: The kitchen is fully equipped and built for groups — not a one-pan-and-a-coffee-maker situation. Gas fireplace in the living area. Three smart TVs with Netflix and Paramount+ so no one has to argue over the remote. High-speed WiFi throughout. In-unit washer and dryer so you can pack lighter and stay longer. PETS AND PRACTICALITIES: One or two well-trained dogs are welcome. No central AC, but this is Maine — evenings are genuinely cool, ceiling fans move the air, and the windows bring in a breeze that most people find they prefer anyway. Winter guests should know the road to the house is plowed and sanded, but four-wheel drive is wise when there's fresh snow. BETHEL, MAINE — 5 MINUTES AWAY Named one of New England's top ten prettiest mountain towns by Yankee magazine, Bethel is one of those places that earns the designation. It sits at the edge of the White Mountain National Forest where the Mahoosuc Range spills over from New Hampshire into Maine — small, historic, and surprisingly full of good things to eat and do. Two grocery stores (Bethel Foodliner and Good Food Store) mean you can stock up properly when you arrive and not worry about running out mid-trip. For dining, the town covers a lot of ground: Brian's, 22 Broad Street, Sunday River Brewing Company, Smokin' Good BBQ, Roosters Roadhouse, The Sudbury Inn, Suds Pub, Cho Sun, Butcher Burger, and The Bethel Inn for a more classic Maine evening out. Di Coca's is the move for coffee and pastries in the morning. And Le Mu Eats — a local food truck — is a personal favorite worth seeking out. Beyond food, there's a golf course, nature trails for walking and exploring, a bait and tackle shop (Sport Thorma) for anyone who wants to spend a slow afternoon with a line in the water, and the Gem Theater — a historic independent movie theater that's exactly the kind of place you hope still exists. WHO THIS HOME IS FOR Families and friend groups of up to 14 who want genuine comfort, space to spread out, and easy access to everything the area offers — skiing, hiking, mountain biking, golf, swimming holes, and the kind of slow, easy days that a place like Bethel is built for. The home works well for all ages. Babies and young kids are welcome — we have a pack-and-play available, just let us know in advance, along with kids' toys and a good selection of books. The person booking must be at least 27 years old. If you're coming for ski season, dates around holiday weekends and school breaks go fast. Book early and lock in your stay. Guest access Entire home Other things to note Pet friendly. One well trained dog is allowed.
