Comfortable and stylish private apartment on the bottom floor of a recently renovated bungalow. Located on a bus route, minutes from the expressway, and a 5 minute drive to downtown Kitchener. Includes a large kitchen, separate dining space, dedicated bedroom with spacious closet, and comfortable couch perfect for relaxing and watching your favourite show. The space With a location nestled close to the highway, Waterloo and Kitchener are both easily accessible from our house. We're also close to Victoria Street where you can find restaurants, shops, and stores. A short drive from Centre in the Square and Bingemans, entertainment is also close by. If fresh food is your thing, the Kitchener Market on Saturdays is also close by as is Aura-la Pastries and Provisions (bar to bean chocolate, tons of local goods, and special pastries Saturdays). Our basement apartment is comfortable and very spacious, and since we have long-term tenants living upstairs we are dedicated to helping make your stay great. As we have four young children, we also know that travelling with kids can be challenging, so we're particularly family friendly and willing to provide some kid-friendly amenities that will make your stay comfortable. Travelling for business can also be stressful, and staying in our home with access to a full kitchen, comfy couch and TV, and bathtub is a great way to unwind after a busy day. While four adults could stay here for a short stay, longer stays would be more comfortable with fewer guests. Guest access Private access to the entire apartment is ensured as there is a lock on the door into the apartment. You may also access shared laundry, with permission, which is downstairs but in a separate room than the apartment. We're outside in our big backyard a lot in the summer, but we're also happy to share it with you. Feel free to grab a chair from our deck to sit in the sun, or eat a meal at our large outdoor table. Other things to note The electrical panel for the whole house is located in the apartment, so in an emergency we may need to access it. While our upstairs tenants are very kind and respectful people, there is still noise transfer from day to day activities (some walking, running water, et.), so if you're looking for peace and quiet this might not be the space for you.
