Welcome to the Llama House, located in the heart of the Adirondacks! Our boutique hostel offers a unique experience with hand-built rooms and a relaxing environment to connect with other travelers. We're minutes away from all the activities you can imagine- hiking/Gore Mnt skiing/whitewater rafting/Rev Rail & more! We're happy to provide personal recommendations to help you make the most out of your trip. Join us to discover the beauty of the Adirondacks while connecting with fellow travelers. The space This house is pure relaxation and access to all the outdoor opportunities that you're coming here for. Gore Mountain is 10 minutes away along with hiking everywhere, rock climbing, whitewater rafting and both mountain and road biking. Lake George is located 30 minutes away. Revolutionary Rail is 15 minutes. Ask about discounts for your local whitewater rafting adventure. Guest access Guests are welcome to make themselves at home and use all common spaces. Everything in the kitchen is available for guest use appliances, dishes, spices, etc. All public spaces - dining room, living room, coffee room, deck, yard is available for guest use. A washer and dryer are also available for guest use. During your stay I live in the house on the first floor. Feel free to completely avoid me after you check if you want to be in your own little world. Otherwise I'm generally happy to interact with guests and help recommend and arrange local activities. Your are also welcome to cook meals with myself and any other guests staying in the house. Other things to note This room is one of 4 rooms I rent out in the house so you can expect to come across other travelers as well. There are 2 bathrooms - 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs that are both available for guest use. It's always a friendly and social vibe in the house with travelers coming through for a variety of out experiences. There is an overly friendly dog named Penny that lives with me, she will be happy to meet you!
