The Waves is a 3 bedroom family-friendly house situated in the costal town of Macduff, Aberdeenshire. It can sleep up to 5 adults comfortably or 4 adults and 2 children. The Waves is a terraced house within 5 minutes of the golf course and the beach and is an ideal home from home to enjoy with friends and family. Macduff, and the nearby town of Banff, offer bars, restaurants, shops, swimming pool, museum and heritage buildings, aquarium and 2 golf courses. The space The ground floor offer a comfortable sitting/ dining room. A TV, DVD player and a selection of books, DVD’s and games make it perfect for cosy nights in. The modern kitchen offers a range of fixtures and fittings to make your stay easy and comfortable. This includes a full sized fridge/ freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, hob and oven, kettle and toaster. Cutlery, crockery, glassware and kitchen utensils are also provided. Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms and a family bathroom. Child safety gates are provided at the top and bottom of the stairs. Bedrooms 2 & 3 offer a double bed, bedside lamp, fitted wardrobe and generous cupboard space. There is a travel cot in bedroom 3 Bedroom 2 overlooks the sea. Bedroom 1 offers a single bed with the option of a second pull out trundle bed. Please note that this room may not be suitable for 2 people who do not wish to sleep in close contact. There is a wall mounted DVD player and a selection of books and DVD’s. The bathroom offers a WC, basin, bath and overhead electric shower. Bed linen and towels are included. To the rear of the property there is a fully enclosed courtyard garden where you can use the patio table and chairs to sit out and enjoy a drink or two. A portable BBQ and 2 bicycles are also provided for your use and there is a space for storing golfing or other equipment. Gas central heating, fuel and power included. Well behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking Guest access The property is located in a residential street with ample free on-street parking Other things to note Golfers can enjoy two courses nearby with many more within a short driving distance, A coastal trail takes you around nearby picturesque former fishing villages and towns with plenty to explore. A range of wildlife, including dolphins, seals, whales and birds are often spotted and the Northern Lights are often visible during the winter months. The Speyside Whisky trail starts within a 45 minute drive and offers a plethora of distilleries to visit.
