This is a beautiful old home right in the heart of Urbana, just blocks from Carle Hospital and one block from downtown Urbana. Please inquire first to discuss your stay, so we can make sure the space, price, and terms are fitting. We normally prep 1 bedroom per 2 guests, unless indicated otherwise. This is a 2-story home, with 3 bedrooms and 1 full bath on the 2nd floor. There is another full bath on the 1st floor, along with commons spaces and the kitchen. In the basement there is one very clean and bright basement bedroom, though it is not as comfortable as the real bedrooms upstairs. Airbnb does not provide a mechanism for pricing in the cost of bedrooms/bedding, and preparing and cleaning bedding for one bedroom in a home is a very different workload than preparing four beds/bedrooms. The listing is priced for one bedroom, and for each additional bed/bedroom you would like to use, we charge $250. This one time fee is in addition to the very small per-person nightly fee that the listing automatically adds to the price. Please inquire before making a booking request so we can work this out. Please note that except for special circumstances, we will generally refuse bookings for large groups or events. This listing is for the entire home. You will not have access to the detached garage, as we use that to store outdoor equipment and may access it occasionally (though we respect your privacy and would not enter the house without checking with you first). During the inquiry process, we will establish how many bedrooms your group will use. Bedroom/guest count is considered in our pricing. We will prepare those bedrooms and leave the unused bedrooms locked. This area of Urbana is about as close as you can get to the university and downtown Urbana while still enjoying the peace and quiet of the historic neighborhood. We have charming old homes and tall old-growth trees. A few blocks west and you're on campus, just a block or two northeast and you're in downtown Urbana. What location could possibly be better? There is a bus stop just 1 block away. But you can pretty easily walk to campus or downtown Urbana. If you'd like to head to downtown Champaign for a night (highly recommended unless you think dozens of bars, microbreweries, and restaurants within a 4 block area serving delicious food and hundreds of different beers is a bad thing) you can also catch a bus there. Uber and Lyft transportation services are available in our area.
