Casa Floresta was designed with the sacred in mind; a space for inspiration, meditation, and connection to the waters. With incredible views of Lake Atitlan and it's surrounding volcanoes at every turn, a beautiful Temple for self practice, and all the comforts to relax in elegance with grace and ease. Just around the bay from San Marcos la Laguna, in Pasajcap, you will find the most private and tranquil cove on the lake to swim, paddle, practice and simple be by the water's edge. The space Casa Floresta Main House consists of large a spacious dining (12 seater table) open planned kitchen and a large sunken lounge room, four bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and separate laundry area. The Guest House is connected by a shared patio and consists of a king size bedroom and separate bathroom. Please note: Casa Floresta is a shared retreat property with other houses that may be rented at the same time. You will have full privacy on the entire main house+ guest house level, however other levels such as the beachfront, temple, and fire terrace level are shared. Casa Floresta is a boat accessed only property, we have our own dock, no road access is available. Casa Floresta Temple on the second level is available for personal use only, no events are permitted without consulting the owners. Traveling with a large group? The Temple hosts a weekly sound bath on Wednesdays from 2.30-4.30pm -Q200 per person which you are welcome to attend. Paddle boards are available for guest use. Private dock access and use, grass terrace for relaxation, beachfront on the waters edge. A Professional Chef can be organised to prepare meals, please inquire for pricing - this needs to be paid in full and confirmed 5 days prior to your arrival. Other things to note This is the home of Forest Path ceremonial works and Sound Ceremony facilitator trainings, we ask for respect of the property as a Sacred space. This means that if you intend to rent Casa Floresta for parties with your friends, excessive alcohol consumption and or the use of party substances, this is not the place for you, please find somewhere else to rent for your time at the lake. Parties and loud music will not be tolerated at any time. We ask you to remove your shoes in the Temple and in the houses please. We have a beautiful sweet cat called Pandita, this is also her home, please treat her kindly, she enjoys company. With daily housekeeping offered, even those sensitive to cats are not likely to experience any trouble. Simply put her outside close the doors at night if you do not wish her to sleep inside. The filter tap at the kitchen sink is drinkable water, we have the best filters available in Guatemala, the water is regularly tested to be sure it is maintained as drinkable. There are no supermarkets in the smaller towns closest to us, we recommend going to the big supermarket LaTorre in Panajachel when you arrive to there before getting on the boat. Boat times: From Panajachel towards Casa Floresta and on to San Marocs/San Pedro - going right from our dock. First boat 6;15am, Last boat 7;30pm. From San Perdo towards Casa Floresta and Panajachel (going left from our dock) - First boat 6;15 am , Last Boat 5;30pm. If you decide to go to San Marcos or San Pedro for dinner, you would need to organise a private boat for your return. (Leo - number available on booking). Please be advised that leaving from Guatemala City on Friday afternoons will result in a later arrival than planned due to high amounts of traffic leaving the city.
