Underground life in a bird's nest

In the middle of the spa town of Bad Zwesten surrounded by cycling and hiking trails, on the edge of the Kellerwald National Park and close to Kassel, there is a clay-built earth house, which was originally built as a therapy house, converted into an exclusive vacation home and thus is unique in Germany. We have placed emphasis on originality, with a touch of luxury. In addition to the excellent climate due to the clay construction, it remains well air-conditioned even on hot summer days. The space The earth house is located on a private property, nestled in nature, overgrown with grass and succulents. When entering the house, you stand directly in the large hallway. From this, four rooms branch off. On the left side is the kitchen. This is equipped with all amenities. A seating area for four people is available. On the opposite side is the bathroom, equipped with a bathtub and separate shower. In the room next door is the toilet. Crossing the hall, you come directly to the heart of the house, the octagon with a 5-meter-high domed roof, where you can count the stars at night. The room is divided into three areas: The sleeping area, consisting of a solidly built oak bed (180 x 200 cm, separate mattresses), which can be reached via two steps. The sleeping area cannot be darkened due to the special design. Sleep masks can be purchased from us for a small fee if needed. Just ask. To help you store your clothes and suitcases, there are two built-in closets that can accommodate 4 people. The living area, equipped with a sofa bed (140 x 200 cm) Internet-enabled TV, which gives you the opportunity to watch movies from the media library or watch TV with a time delay. An extra floor lamp, so you can also read relaxed on the couch. Two niches are available to relax and unwind. Just relax. As well as the dining area, a table where four people have space to organize a small game night. Games and books are available for you. Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. If you want to listen to music from your phone, you can connect to an amplifier via Bluetooth. Music enjoyment guaranteed! If you would like to enjoy nature, you can access your own terrace via the left side of the earth house. Seating for four people is also available here. A parasol creates pleasant coolness even on hot days. If you need a grill, just ask. It may happen that the squirrels stop by, the cherry stone eaters sing for you or the wren sings a serenade for you. In the house, we ask you to exchange your shoes for slippers or socks, as the floor is made of cork. Since the house is underground, it stays pleasantly cool in the summer.
