A nest for the night!

This room rental in our house is open for women and couples only. This home has the feel of a tree house! It has a great view over the old town of Roseburg. We work at home and find it a peaceful and productive space. the deck is set up for outdoor dining and the kitchen is fully equipped and available for light cooking use. The world class Umpqua River is a short drive from the house. Crater Lake is a nice day trip from here. There are many waterfalls in the area to explore. The space We are just up the hill from old town Roseburg. The room has a queen bed, dresser, desk and closet space. There is a private bath for you with a tub. Guests are free to use the kitchen for light cooking and enjoy the large deck. Guests must be able to handle stairs and a steep driveway! We are Audubon members and usually have lots of birds at the bird bath. This is a quiet neighborhood. We are also pickleball players and can show you where the courts are! This is a no pet and no small children space. We have a cat who has recently adopted us. My guest recently wrote this about the access: "The entrance is a walk up a short, steep driveway and stairs to navigate inside. It's not a problem for able bodied with light luggage - and worth the effort. The room and bath are upstairs, private, comfortable and very clean. Highly recommend!" The door to your bedroom does not have a locking door handle yet. No one has ever complained but one person asked recently when booking. Guest access You will be using one of two upstairs bedrooms and will have access to a private full bath upstairs just for your use. You're welcome to use the kitchen for coffee making and light meal preparation. Please see parking notes. During your stay We will be happy to help you get comfortable here and answer any questions you might have about the area. Other things to note We enjoy all our guests but birders, pickleball players and boaters will get the inside scoops on local activities! This is a safe and quiet space to spend the night just off hwy 5 for travelers. No pets please.
