Experience the elemental beauty of Punta Banco in our all-seasons wavefront cottage. Nestled between the jungle and the ocean on a half-acre of lush beachfront gardens, our lovingly converted banana container offers two cozy and dry air-conditioned studios, each with its own spacious outdoor bathroom, kitchen, and shady teak front deck where you can relax in the sea breeze. Our cottage is perfect for discerning digital nomads, previously feral wave hounds, or your family of frothers. The space Located just steps from mama ocean, multiple quality surf breaks, and a refreshing natural cool dip, our beachfront cottage is both a true stoke station and an oasis of tranquility. With private parking, fast wifi, abundant natural spring water, and seasonal fresh fruit and herbs on-site, you'll have everything you need for a comfortable and memorable stay. Our kitchenettes are stocked with quality cookware, a small fridge, and all the tropical kitchen essentials to pick and peel garden fruit or make fresh catch sushi. 
You are guaranteed to sleep soundly on queen-sized memory foam mattresses and wake up to the soothing sounds of nature that surround our little bit of paradise. Stretch in the mornings and sip drinks in the evenings from our canopy deck. And when you're ready to paddle out, simply walk over to our small, local-run surf shop located right out front. Bodega is open 7 days a week, 8am to 12 noon, December through June. We'll connect you with rentals, lessons, and guidance to make the most of your time in the water. That same surf shop serves local coffee and smoothies in the mornings as well :) Guest access You'll have access to both sides of our cottage duplex, canopy deck, front decks, front and back yards, and gardens. Two parking spaces are available on site. Our tiny, locally run surf shop (Bodega Surf Supply) is located just out front where you can arrange rentals, lessons, and get info on where and when to surf in town. Other things to note Bodega Surf Supply is a small community & conservation-minded surf shop and rental business. Our wavefront location in Punta Banco serves as a meetup point for surf lessons with local instructors, supplies hard-to-find surf essentials, and provides comfy digs for discerning wave hounds. It is also home to Urchin Surfboards - which are shaped right out back in our garden workshop. 

 A Little About Us: Pat & Christie are two Floridian lovebirds who quickly flew the coop to Costa Rica as soon as they finished school. We’ve been living happily in Punta Banco for 15 years. 

Our other project, The Yoga Farm, is where we make our home, teach, build, plant, and continue to grow ourselves. 

Wilmer and Becky, both born and raised in PB, and are as pura vida as they come. On any given day they surf, fish, teach, shoot photos, guide, and hustle around Pavones, all while keeping an incredible home and raising a beautiful family. We all look forward to helping make your time in Banco a magical and memorable experience.
