The cottage is approximately 54 sqm + glassed-in patio (about 9 sqm). The cottage is located on a larger corner plot (about 1000 sqm) and during the summer the street is closed for traffic. The neighborhood offers summertime quiet campsites. The location is quiet with views of the marina and neighbor with swimming areas, about 200 meters to both sandy beach with jetty at the 1st bay and jetty at the 2nd bay, very popular swimming areas. In walking distance there are also large nature reserves for quiet walks on cliffs and along paths. THE COTTAGE There are two bedrooms in a smaller size, one with a 180 cm wide double bed, and one with a bunk bed with two 90 cm wide beds. The kitchen is fully equipped, including microwave, fridge & freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker and water boiler. Dining table seats 4-6 people, a high chair is available upon request. There is a small laundy room with washing machine. The cottage is heated by air heat pump which provides a pleasant climate. The air heat pump can also be used as air conditioning, which is nice the hottest days. Simple but fresh bathroom with shower, WC and basin. Living room with large sofa for 3-4 people, as well as an armchair. TV with Google Chrome. There are some toys, puzzles, paper and drawing pens, board games and books. The conservatory accommodates at least 4 people. The outdoor room can be used in most weather during the summer months when it is possible to open up a lot when it is warm. Fast broadband via WiFi. THE PROPERTY Big grass lawn for playing and relaxing, which is cut by robotic lawnmowers. Outdoor table with four chairs and parasol. Two larger sun loungers and a few smaller sun loungers are available. Large gravel driveway with room for at least two cars. BBQ grill with charcoal available. The neighborhood offers summertime quiet campsites. TIPS FOR THINGS TO DO IN THE AREA Getterön's several beaches are all nice visits. 1st and 2nd cove are very closest. On the 1st bay there is a new outdoor gym and an obstacle course popular for children. Crab fishing is popular at the dock on the 2nd cove. There is a kiosk at the 1st bay in the summer. Don't miss a visit even on the 5th bay if swimming weather. There is a natural area and a nice playground called Båten Blanka. Västra Getterön Nature Reserve also called Gubbanäset (past the 5th bay) is very worth seeing if you appreciate beautiful and rare nature. At the far end it's a nude bath, so don't be horrified! During summer there is often a possibility to do outdoor yoga. It is usually possible to rent a kayak on Getterön's 3rd bay, search Kayakomat on Getterön. Restaurant Hattaviken, located a stone's throw from the cabin at the nice marina, is of excellent quality according to us. On summer time there is the grocery store Tempo at Getterövägen 15. Getterön also has its own fish smokehouse. Getteröns bird sanctuary is a nice destination. The museum is free and you can borrow binoculars. About 5 km from the cottage there is Varberg city center with all that the inner city has to offer, easily reachable by car or bike. BED SHEETS, CLEANING & CHECK OUT The accommodation price does not include sheets / linens and towels. It is possible to rent for SEK 150 per person and stay, notify when booking or at the latest 2 days before check-in. Check-out is by 11am. Guests clean the cabin themselves before checkout, so that it will be as nice as when you arrived. Equipment for cleaning is in the laundry room.
