Charming apartment in eaves of converted barn, situated in courtyard garden over looking fields and grade 2 listed house. Comfortable super king bed, en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and large bath. Generous open plan kitchen living and dining area. Great location for rural walking holidays or trips to Longleat, frome or bath. Pool spa sessions with hot tub and sauna can be booked as an extra, see access for details. Friendly, helpful hosts who live on site. The space The generous sized bedroom has a super king bed with an en-suite bathroom with shower and bath. The living room is open plan with views out over the courtyard, field and beautiful Georgian house. It includes a well equipped kitchen, dining and seating area and smart television. Outside in the courtyard is a seating area, you are welcome to use this during your stay. We are located down a quiet lane with very little passing traffic, so its a peaceful place to sit and watch the world go by. The accommodation is best suited to couples, solo travelers or families with one small child. If additional accommodation for 1 or 2 adults is required, we have a lovely double room in the courtyard with ensuite bathroom, this is not listed on airbnb so please enquire via message. Guest access Guests have access to the flat - and there is also space to sit outside in the courtyard. The pool and spa complex on site it is not included in the room rate, it is £40 for a 2 hour private spa session (this is for everyone staying in apartment not pp) and can be booked during or ahead of your stay subject to availability. A spa session includes heated pool (a warm 30C in winter months), hot tub, sauna, jet shower with led lights and spa towels. The room itself is also really warm so lovely when its cold outside. We have some floating toys and buoyancy aids for babies and infants and a couple inflatables for everyone to enjoy. There is one other unit that is also able to use the spa, and we offer slots on a first come first serve basis. The pool uses copper technology to clean so it is chlorine free, and the copper offers additional health benefits due to its anti inflammatory properties. There is parking space for one car next to the apartment, additional free off street parking can be found in the nearby village. Other things to note Please note this is a self-catering unit and there is no shop within walking distance. The nearest supermarkets are 7-10 min drive and there is an excellent local pub serving food just a 5-minute walk from the house. Please be aware for older guests there are stairs going up to the property. EV: Electric car charging, we have 3 pin regular domestic plug outside which we run an extension cable to. There is a cost of £25 per full charge please let us know on arrival or before if you would like to use this and we will set this up. Noise: We live in a very peaceful area with little or no noise. We ask you respect this for other guests by keeping noise to a minimum.
