This is your calm, beautiful escape just 13 min from Karuizawa Station. 📍 Location & Access: Our villa is about 13 minutes by car or taxi from Karuizawa Station, located in a quiet forest lakeside area on the Gunma side of Minami-Karuizawa. 🚘 A car or taxi is required to reach the property. 🪜 To preserve the beautiful lake view, the villa is set above the parking area. Please note there is a flight of stairs from the parking space to the entrance. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes if possible. ＝＝＝＝＝＝＝ Terrace: Relax on deck chairs and unwind. A blissful time begins as you quietly gaze at the serene view of Lake Wami, reflecting the sparkle of the trees on the water's surface. 1st Floor Living Room: With high ceilings and a spacious feel, this living room is stylishly designed, providing a cozy atmosphere suitable for family gatherings or conversations with friends. Equipped with heating and air conditioning, you can enjoy a cool summer or a warm and comfortable winter. The use of natural solid wood flooring reflects attention to detail. As an open living space, it offers a sense of liberation. 1st Floor Kitchen: The seasonings available in the room are salt and pepper. A modern kitchen with appliances. Purchase Karuizawa ingredients at Tsuruya and enjoy a Karuizawa-style meal with everyone. Feel free to use the BALMUDA toaster and oven range. Bathroom: A large bathtub that can accommodate three people, perfect for relaxing and relieving travel fatigue. Washroom: A charming imported washroom stocked with cleansing gel, emulsion, and milk. No need to bring anything. 2nd Floor Bedrooms (3 rooms): Bedroom 1: Up to 5 people, 3 single beds + 2 sofa beds Bedroom 2: Up to 3 people, 1 double bed + 1 sofa bed Bedroom 3: Up to 3 people, 2 single beds + 1 sofa bed French beds are used in all rooms. If you have specific room allocation preferences, please contact us one week before check-in. (Kitchen) Guests can cook for themselves. Ingredients will be disposed of on the day of cleaning. About Dogs: Dogs are free to roam on the 1st floor. They are not allowed to enter the staircase or 2nd-floor bedrooms. Please take responsibility for your dog during your stay. If you bring a dog, we can prepare bedding for one person on the 1st-floor sofa bed. If you wish, please contact us one week before check-in. Parking: Parking is free, and up to 2 cars are allowed. Fireworks: Please refrain from using fireworks. No Smoking: The entire property is non-smoking. Ashtrays are provided outdoors, so please smoke there. Guest access The entire villa is available for exclusive rental. There is no sharing with other guests. Please relax and enjoy your stay. There are three bedrooms, and bed-making will be done according to the number of guests. Typically, room assignments are based on 2 to 3 guests per room. If you have specific room assignment preferences or if you are staying with a beloved dog and would like bed-making on the first floor, please consult with us at least one week before check-in. Please make a reservation with the accurate number of guests. As there are security cameras outside the villa, if we discover that the number of guests staying is different from the reservation, we will charge double the regular additional fee per person per night. We appreciate your strict compliance. The property is located in a quiet villa area, so sound carries easily. Especially after 9 PM, please refrain from BBQ and discussions on the balcony. Kindly keep the windows closed and engage in conversations indoors. ​​① After booking, we will send you a check-in guide, including entry instructions. Please follow the self-check-in procedure. Please ensure accurate reservation details, including the number of guests. As there are security cameras outside the villa, if we find that the number of guests differs from the reservation, we will charge an additional ¥10,000 per person. We appreciate your strict adherence to this policy. ​​② Early check-in is available from 1:00 PM, and late check-out is possible until 12:00 PM. An additional ¥2,200 per hour will be charged. Please inquire in advance, as it may not be possible depending on surrounding reservations. For late check-out or early check-in without prior notice by 3:00 PM the day before, there will be an additional charge of ¥5,500 per hour. Please note that if you exceed the check-out time at 12:00 PM, an additional night's accommodation fee will apply. ​​ ③ BBQ is allowed on the deck until 9:00 PM, including cleanup. BBQ equipment is available for rent at an additional ¥6,600. Please bring your own ingredients. Please refrain from bringing your own BBQ stove. If needed, please contact us in advance. For same-day additions, we may not be able to accommodate, so please understand. (For requests after 12:00 PM the day before, the fee will be ¥7,700.) *During winter (December to March), it can get quite cold, making it challenging to keep food warm. Please be aware of this in advance. *Please refrain from bringing your own BBQ equipment. To Guests with Dogs: Please note that access for dogs is limited to the first floor only. Entry to the second floor and staircase areas is not permitted. Any damage or accidents caused by dogs inside the property will incur a special cleaning fee of 5,500 yen, plus additional charges for any damages or stains.
