Jorny's End - Riverfront Retreat

Secluded riverfront getaway! 3500+ sq ft! Our home on the Wisconsin River features incredible views, a spacious floating dock to park your boat or lay out in the sun, multiple outdoor patio areas, 2 provided kayaks for use, and is just steps away from a family fun sandbar beach! The house itself feature two full kitchens, game room/bar area, and plenty of space for everyone. This home uniquely isolated being at the very end of the road so you'll feel quite separated from the world. Come stay! The space Jorny's End is the perfect place to just walk in, drop your things, breath deeply and start unwinding. The biggest choice you'll need to make is where to start relaxing. Maybe you'll want to enjoy coffee in the loungers on the screened in porch? Or maybe you want to cuddle up on the outdoor sofa and read a book? Perhaps sunbathing and enjoying the breeze on the floating dock is your thing? Maybe the kids want to take the shallow walk to the nearby sandbar and build sandcastles? Fancy a game of pool, darts or bags? Kayak ride or tube float? Even if you just want to chill in front of the TV in the oversized, electric lay-z-boy chairs, we've got you covered. This house has 2 full kitchens complete with full size refrigerator/freezer, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Cooking supplies are available including pots, pans, baking sheets, and utensils as well as basic spices and olive oil. A Keurig style coffee pot and toaster are also available. The master bedroom has a beautiful view, king size bed, walk-in closet and huge master bath with a walk-in shower. 3 other bedrooms each have queen sized beds and one bonus bedroom has a day bed and a set of bunk beds. For the two other bathrooms, one bathroom has a tub/shower and the other has a shower. TVs with Rokus are installed in 3 of the 5 bedrooms (if you really need a TV somewhere else, just let us know). There are also 2 living room areas with TVs and Rokus. Only basic TV service is provided, so bring your own logins. Located on the Wisconsin River. Lake Wisconsin is a short boat ride away where there are multiple water accessible bars/restaurants (Lucky's, Fitz's, Thirsty Moose and Lakeside to name a few). There are many, many fun sandbars to stop and visit along the way. Life jackets are provided, but you may want to bring your own to ensure the right size. Wisconsin Dells is under a 35 minute drive as well as other adventures including Devil's Lake, Cascade Mountain, Parfrey's Glen and numerous Ice Age trails. Guest access Guests will be given a code prior to arrival for self-check in. Access will be via the keypad on the front door. There is a large driveway in the front of the house with enough space for 4 vehicles. Please do not park on the street as it is against town ordinances. Garage parking and access is NOT available. Guests can also access the floating dock by river during the summer (June - Sept). The home is about a half mile up the WI river from Lake Wisconsin with buoys to guide your way. Other things to note Important to note that the property owners (my wife and I) will be nearby during your stay. This property still has the original “old cottage” intact. The new house (this listing) is built next to it. We are still residing in the old cottage. There is a very separate entrance and a 3 feet airgap between the house foundations (virtually soundproof between them). There is a single doorway/hall that connects them (that will be locked on both sides). Believe me, you won’t know we’re here. We want you to thoroughly enjoy the house and your time here. All reservations must be approved. We need to ensure enough time for thorough cleaning and restocking between guests. You must also have good standing Airbnb review(s) before being accepted. If you have no reviews, please explain. The boat and jet skis in the photos are not included in the rental. You have full use of the dock area, however, and can bring your own boats/watercraft. If found smoking, vaping, or burning of any kind inside the unit, you will be charged $200. No pets allowed. If there is evidence of pets in the unit, you will be charged $300.
