Description
AUGUST 2026 EXCLUSIVE PRICES TWO NIGHT STAYS Subject to availability. “A place where everyone can come together—without it ever feeling crowded.” Walpole House is a large, light-filled coastal home in Margate, designed for groups who want to spend time together properly—whether that's a family gathering, a weekend with friends, or something worth celebrating. No Flights. No Ferries. No Tunnels. No Border Control. The English seaside at its very best from Arcades and T The space This is a lovely big Victorian property with a couple of pretty big extensions... one of which is ANOTHER HOUSE :-) The result is a feeling of space and light and even fully occupied it does not feel even remotely crowded. A generous lounge, spacious dinning room that can sit 19 people, big galley kitchen (we have had 6 people in it cooking at once), and a patio for overspill. We have designed the space for multigenerational living... and multiple families... it will make sense when you are in the property. The back house is equally spacious while being cosy. The front door is adjacent to the patio so, while its self contained it is still very much included in the experience. Guest access It is all yours. Both of the houses and gardens can be accessed from the side, so coming back from the beach you can avoid entering the house if you wish. The back house has not steps into to it from the street. It also has a downstairs bedroom - but an upstairs bathroom. There is step free paved access to the beach which is a little step in some parts. Other things to note Put the key from the keysafe back in the keysafe -- and share the keysafe code with all the guests. WHY? 1. that way everyone has access to a key and access the the property 2. the front door automatically locks when it closes! If you lock yourself out, worst case you'll be waiting for an expensive locksmith.
