Le Clos des Lilas

Le Clos des Lilas are two lovingly decorated guest rooms in Montreuil-aux-Lions, a small village at the beginning of the Champagne region. Here, you can stroll along country lanes, learn the secrets of the Champagne region, return to your childhood at Walt Disney (30min), discover Paris (45min), or simply relax in the garden where several areas are dedicated to you. Every morning, we'll serve you a breakfast made with local produce. We look forward to welcoming you! The space You’ll access the property through a shared courtyard, where one or two private parking spots are available. Behind a wooden gate, you’ll find your own private, secluded courtyard with garden furniture and a firepit. On sunny mornings, breakfast will be served here. The accommodation includes two rooms, each with large sliding glass doors: • One room has a Queen-size bed, storage, and a comfortable armchair. • The second opens onto a small lounge with a sofa and a staircase leading to a spacious mezzanine with another Queen-size bed. A hallway connects both rooms and leads to your private bathroom with an Italian-style shower, toilet, and sink. In the small barn across from the rooms, you’ll find a convenient setup with a fridge, freezer, microwave, and everything you need to make tea or coffee and reheat meals. All dishes and utensils are provided. (Note: there is no full kitchen.) All the spaces are entirely yours—even if you only book one room. If both beds are used, an additional fee of €40 per person, per night applies. Breakfast is included. If you’d like to use the barbecue, just bring your own charcoal. We’ll be happy to recommend local butchers and farmers for great ingredients. Let us know in advance so we can prepare everything for you! Guest access See “My accommodation”. You'll find a parking space, a private courtyard, a relaxation area in the garden, bedroom 1, bedroom 2, a hallway, a bathroom, and whether you rent just one or both bedrooms, there's no sharing of space. Make yourself at home! During your stay We'll be at your disposal throughout your stay, by text (we keep our phone on us whan someone's here). And if you need us, even for a small problem, don't hesitate to come and see us - we'll be there. We'll do everything we can to make you feel at home, so you can enjoy your peace and quiet. And if you'd like to share a glass of local champagne with us, that would be a real pleasure! Other things to note If you'd like a walking itinerary in the area, let us know in advance and we can help you. During the summer, we also have several swimming spots to cool off in the Marne river. It's a wild and magical swim! There are several great restaurants in the area, so if you'd like us to make a reservation for you, please let us know before you arrive. If you want to visit Reims, or Paris, and need advice on where to go or how to get there, just ask us. When you make your reservation, please let us know what you usually have for breakfast, so we can plan what you'll need before you arrive.
