Perfect for friends/families/colleagues to make as a base whilst exploring/working. The space The Apartment: Spacious, open planning with large windows allowing for more light and air. The lounge area is perfect for lazy days on the couch or reading a good book. The dining area comfortable sits 6 people, or doubles up as a generous work space. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the basic necessities to create your favourite meals. Guests can also enjoy a freshly brewed cup of coffee in the mornings using the Nespresso coffee machine. Bedroom 1: Ensuite with a double bed Bedroom 2: 2x single beds with a separate bathroom. If requested, the beds can be converted to make a king bed. Air conditioning in the lounge and main bedroom, whilst the second bedroom has a fan. The Building: The Eclipse building is located centrally in the heart if Green Point, and within walking distance to main attractions such as the Cape Town Stadium, V&A Waterfront, restaurants and shops. There is 24hr manned security with access strictly controlled. Guests will be kept safe with video surveillance and electric fencing around the perimeter of the building. Guests are welcome to make use of the pool which is utilized by all guests and residents in the building. Basement parking is available for guests who wish to rent a car. Guest access Guests are welcome to make full use of the apartment during their stay. Please treat the apartment with respect and care Other things to note The pool is not private but rather utilized by all guests and residents in the building. The lounge/living area and main bedroom are equipped with aircons. There is no fan in the twin bedroom however there is a fan. Additional cleaning is at the guest's cost and any requests for fresh towels are off the guests account. Guests staying for 10 nights or longer are offered a free weekly cleaning service which includes a linen and towel change. NB!!! Unfortunately South Africa is dealing with rolling blackouts on a scheduled basis. This means that power outages are scheduled for up to 2hrs at a time, and sometimes up to 4hrs at a time, mainly early morning and late evening. Fortunately there is back up power installed in the apartment that would keep all the lights, major appliances, TV and WiFi router uninterrupted. The only appliances not backed up would be the washing machine, dishwasher and the oven. The building itself does not have a back up system so the apartment is completely and entirely self preserved from loadshedding (with exception to the washing machine and dishwasher).
