Our house is the perfect getaway. Swimming, boating, hiking, snow skiing, apple picking, vineyards, you choose!The area offers great restaurants & family friendly activities. Morning coffee on the deck, swim from your private beach, 4 kayaks(please bring your own life vests). BBQ on the gas grill,enjoy the fire pit on the beach. House is great for couples, individuals & families. Please check first if you plan to bring a boat. 7 maximum.Sleeps 4 adults comfortably. The house is spacious and bright. Bedroom on first floor has a double bed, and ceiling fan. The house has central air. Fans are also available. This house is also our personal residence that we share with you when we are not using it. Our hope is that you treat our home with respect, as you would your own home. Guests have use of the entire house, except the basement. Boats on the dock are not available for use, but the host family does utilize the boats and dock. We live in close proximity, so we are available quickly if any problems arise. During summer months, we also use our boats that are at the dock. The house is situated on Connecticut's largest natural lake. We live in a cove, so there is less boat traffic than being on the main part of the lake. The house is on a main road, and only has neighbors to one side who are usually only around on the weekend. Plenty of parking available on site. You can comfortably park 5-6 cars Guests swim in the lake or enter the lake at their own risk. Homeowners are not responsible for anyone swimming in the lake or using kayaks. If you plan to bring a boat, check with host first. Dock and kayaks are not in the water until after Memorial Day, and removed around Columbus Day.
