Beautifully Spacious Town House.

Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located place. A well cared for town house walkable to Barnstaple town centre. Fantastic location for bars, shopping, theatre and Barnstaple attractions. Bus station a 5 minute walk & train station 15 minute. An 8 minute drive to the hospital also. It is suitable for two people maximum, the Super Kingsize bed is huge! Cosy living room , Dining area and large galley kitchen. Location in a Victorian street, drop off luggage outside front door. The space My home is your home. The whole house is yours to use. Enjoy a cozy living room with gas stove fire & TV. Please make yourself at home. I am here to help in anyway to ensure that your visit to my town is enjoyable. A large bedroom with a huge Kingsize bed awaits. So great for couples or friends who don’t mind sharing, the outside space is South facing and a sun trap during the Summer months, there is garden lounge furniture with a garden dining table for Alfresco eating along with cushions and throws & a fire-pit, an undercover pergola is also available for guests. In the evening the garden is lit with lights to give a romantic feel which is at your disposal. The use of cupboards, dishwasher/fridge/freezer/appliances/portable fan is of course allowed. The washing machine is easy to use but just ensure you use the quick wash option. I want to give my guests a home away from home experience, a staying at a friend’s place feel. Just for reference I don’t allow pets.🙏 I can’t provide visitors parking permits as Ive now gone over my allocation for this year. Parking is available at the top of Bear Street free (subject to availability) and Barnstaple Central Car Park is free from 6pm until 8am, the day rate is £14 and it is 5 minutes walk from the house. Guest access Ground floor & first floor access, lounge, dining room, kitchen, Outside courtyard, their own large bedroom, their own large private bathroom. Top loft room is private & will be locked. I will NOT be present during your stay. Other things to note I do offer a complimentary breakfast, bread (toast), milk in fridge. There are spices etc in the cupboard which my guests can use. I do also leave wine, gin, soft drinks, chocolate, ice in the freezer, etc but if you do partake in a tipple or anything outside of your Welcome Box, please leave an honesty donation in the kitchen. Please remember this is a town house, and is about 9 miles from the nearest beach. The house is situated in a Victorian street which I love. ❤️ For long term let’s, please be aware that the guest/guests are responsible for keeping the house clean & tidy putting out recycling & black bins when required. Treat the property with respect. Quick insight into number 3. The house was built between 1900 & 1929 it’s Victorian, in one of the oldest boroughs in the UK. I have owned the house for 25 years and brought my two girls Steffi & Abi up in it. The house was then residentially let out for 10 years whilst I was working away in Bristol as a Medical Rep. Upon the loss of my partner Mike unexpectedly, I took back the house and completely renovated it myself. I painted and reconfigured the building to how it looks today. Number 3 has various nods to my family, RAF pics & station memorabilia, my late Dad served for 33 years, the glamorous lady in the necklace is my late Mum Chrissie, who helped me to buy the house all those years ago, the racing pics, my late brother Paul a jockey at Newmarket . The travel nod, the places I’ve worked and visited in my 60 years. My dream of hosting an AIRBNB is now a reality.
