Historic Creekside Getaway with Hot Tub

Come for a romantic weekend or relax with family or friends. Attached two-story guest suite of our historic stone house is perched on the banks of the Esopus creek. Swim, paddle or just bask in a hammock and birdwatch on our private stretch of the creek. Unwind in the hot tub or by the fire or take a turn at ping-pong or lawn games. Each room has lofty wood beams, a comfy four-poster bed and a private bath with soaking tub. Nearby - hikes, markets, dining and more are just minutes away. The space You will be staying in the North Wing of our generously appointed historic stone house. Built in 1668 by Dutch Settlers, our home is set in two acres of gardens and woodlands fronting the Esopus Creek which runs from the Catskill Mountains to the Hudson river. This two-story suite is a chance to step back in time. The wide floor boards, impressive beamed ceilings and four poster canopy beds echo the simplicity of the 18th century. Both bedrooms include private baths with soaking tubs. Additional Features include a den/game-room with seating, ping pong and fusball, indoor and outdoor dining spaces and outdoor grill, private access to hot tub, and private access to a deep and swimmable stretch of the Esopus. Paddle-boards, rafts and life vests are available for use. Fresh eggs are available upon request. Our chickens are housed on the main side of the property. Please let host know if you would like to collect eggs or interact with the chickens outside of their enclosure. Guest access Please use the driveway at the North end of the house. Guests will have access to a private entrance with custom passcode. Other things to note Guest are welcome to use all outdoor spaces, but will not have access to the main house.
