CHECK-IN – CHECK-OUT Check-in from 3PM (15:00) until 7PM (19:00) Check-out should be done on the day of departure before 12 PM noon to prepare the villa clean and beautiful for our guests. Our staff can provide you with a safe luggage room if needed. 2. WI-FI Our WI-FI service is certainly the best available on the island, but this remain a small island. The internet on the island might not as stable as in the mainland, please bare with us if sometimes the signal does not good and strong. 3. NUMBER OF GUESTS A number of guests staying in Villa Stella Maris are planned and registered according to the booking platform. Guests can be visited by their friends during the day, but unregistered guests are not allowed to stay overnight. Kindly inform us if you wish your friend to stay overnight, we can register your friends with an additional charge of USD 100 /additional guest. the total number of guests in the villa is limited to 11 adults in the villa except toddlers. 4. OUR STAFF Our staff starts their day at 7:30 AM (07:30) until 4:30 PM (16:30). They have a break of an hour for their lunch. The staff will be busy attending to the grounds, maintenance, cleaning of rooms, etc. Our staffs are living within the premises in a separated building. So in case you need anything they will attend to your needs. Staff will get you drinks, food or anything else based on your request, you can give them cash or by bank transfer. Mr. Gus, our villa manager, speaks Indonesian & English. He can assist with translations at any time if you need help. 5. BREAKFAST Breakfast will be served from 7:30 AM (7:30) to 10 AM (10:00). Meals and preferred times must be arranged in advance with the staff so we can source the fresh ingredients, plan staff times & prepare and serve as requested. As we are not a hotel or restaurant, we do not stock all the food as described on the menu. Beverages can be ordered also throughout the day at a certain cost. If you have any requirements, please let the staff know. 6. ORDER FOOD TO THE VILLA It is also possible to Dine at - or order meals from local restaurants around. You will find menus available in the living room area or simply scan the QR code on the deck of guideline cards. Some of these offer a pick-up/drop-off transfer service for free. Please ask our manager & we will make all bookings for you and ensure all your requests meet your order. If you would like our staff to go and get things for you, they will (when available) take it for you or ride you on the back of a motorbike. You can tip them as you please. 7. KITCHEN Our fully equipped kitchen is at disposal for your own cooking. All the fresh ingredients are sent from the mainland at Sanur port, if you need any unique fresh ingredients , please order a minimum of 1 day in advance. Our staff will arrange the order / pick up and send it by boat to the villa at your cost. In Nusa Lembongan, we also have some suppliers at the local markets and stores can provide you with basic ingredients, please check with our staff for what is available during your stay. Please do not drink/cook the water from the tap. We provide you with water by the gallon and it’s available also with hot/cold water from the water dispenser. 8. AC & FANS Electricity costs and our carbon footprint on this paradise Island are important to us all. There are LEDs in the swimming pool and on the wall of the rock that will be turned off automatically at 11 PM. Please switch off fans, lights & Air Conditioners whenever you leave your room/s. Staff may enter rooms to switch off these electric devices & lights off if unattended. 9. SMOKING Smoking in the rooms is not permitted but there are many terraces and grounds areas where you can smoke. Please consider other guests & dispose of butts responsibly. Staff will provide ashtrays on request. 10. LINEN & TOWELS Clean water on the island is also one of the important factors which we need to preserve it for our local islanders. Bed linen and towels will be changed every 2 nights. 11. LAUNDRY There is a laundry service available at additional charges. Please ask the staff. Most people do not need ironing here in Bali, but it is available if requested. 12. MASSAGE, YOGA Appointment with professional massage therapists can arranged by our staff. the massage can happen at the location of the spa, 5 min from our villa. It also can be arranged at the villa, in your room, on the rooftop on massage table or on sunbed by the pool. Please ask the management for prices for these services and availabilities. 13. SCUBA DIVING, SNORKELING, TOUR & other activities For Sightseeing and other water activities please make a booking via our website. It also offers pay by credit card for your convenience 14. TRANSPORT During your stay, you can arrange your own transport and our staff will assist with this if you require. You can hire a pick-up with the driver, rent a buggy car, or rent a motorbike. Our staff can also take you on tours, drop-offs & pick-ups, and prices for these are available on request. 15. DAMAGES Please inform our staff asap of any accidents/damages during your stay so these can be quickly repaired or replaced, and the cost/s agreed. 16. SWIMMING POOL 2 swimming pools are at your disposal. located at the front and back to serve you, pool towels are available on request. The LED light in the swimming pool will automatically switch on/off from 7 PM (19:00) until 10 PM (22:00) The management or staff of Villa Stella Maris is not responsible for any accidents in or around the Villa grounds including the pool & on the rock to the sea so please be always careful and watch children. Inflatable beds/toys/floaties, kids pools, snorkels, etc available on request. PLEASE do not enter the buildings while still dripping wet from the pool. The floors might be slippery when it is wet. 17. ICE BATH Ice baths will be provided on request and booked 1 day in advance to fill up the tub with ice cubes,with the additional charge. 18. TELEPHONE For cheap local & International connections, you can buy a sim card from Telkomsel. Please ask the staff for details. 19. STAIRS, STEPS & LIGHTING The Villa has many steps & stairs to negotiate so please be careful and especially at night. Not all lighting stays on all night but some of the steep step areas are lit into the night for your safety. 20. ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES Check-in times are between 3 pm & 7 pm. Later check-ins will incur a 200.000Rp fee for the retention of staff to assist with luggage, venue inspection, room selections, etc. Please respect the latest check-out time by 12 PM (Noon) unless otherwise agreed to prior. The staff is there to assist with your luggage on request. Make sure you check you have not left anything behind! Should you have any problems or needs during your stay please ask our villa manager to assist you. 21. LOST & FOUND As we are located on a remote island, therefore, any items left behind will need a certain time to return to the guest, our staff will contact you for any items found in the villa belonging to the guest and return them. The cost incurred will be borne by the guest. In case guests can not take it after 30 days from the check-out date, we will donate it to the local villagers. We respectfully request that you report to the staff or management any faults you find with any equipment, cleanliness, staff, or otherwise so we might have the opportunity to remedy these issues as quickly as possible to ensure your stay with us is everything it should be.
