Ten minutes from Middlebury College. Brand new mountain hideaway with beautiful views of the Green Mountains in the peaceful Lemon Fair Valley. Private, quiet, peaceful and full of light. Beautifully constructed with a spacious white cedar deck. The interior is artfully decorated, with a clean, modern vibe. The mountain behind the cottage is undeveloped state land available to explore. The space North Ridge Cottage is a beautifully designed, energy-efficient, one-floor cottage with high ceilings and lots of windows and light. Brand new construction with all natural materials, the house has a feeling of spaciousness despite its 683 square feet. The windows are triple glazed European-style windows. There is a large deck with tables and chairs for enjoying the outdoors. The cottage is surrounded by woods and the sounds of birdsong. It is private and quiet. There is a writing cabin nearby, but it is not rented out. The cottage is handicapped accessible from the back, with parking options in front and behind the cottage. Wifi 100+mb. Excellent drinking water, too, with a print-out of a recent VT Dept. of Health Laboratory Test Results in kitchen drawer. There is a Level II electric car charger behind the cottage. Guest access Entire cottage Other things to note My wife and I have lived on Snake Mountain for 30 years and recently built North Ridge Cottage for family and friends. We are excited to share the space with guests on a limited basis. I am an adventure/travel writer and retired creative writing teacher, and my wife is a professor and theater maker in Vermont. We live 300 feet away through the woods, and are available if needed. We live in the Champlain Valley, 10 minutes from Middlebury College and have beautiful views of the Green Mountains
