Convenient snowmobile/ATV trail access, short walk to restaurants, shops & lake. The huge yard is perfect for lawn games, has a picnic table, 2 fire pits & a deck overlooking a hidden pond. Driveway has plenty of room for vehicles, trailers & toys! The space The main level of the home is where the primary bedroom and 2 bathrooms and laundry are located. An open-concept kitchen, dining area and living room allow everyone to be together. Relax on the sun-filled 4-season porch overlooking the backyard. The second level has a loft bedroom with a queen size bed & 2 twins. Guest access The entire home including the lower level of the 2-car garage is available to guests excluding the larger garage/workshop which is for owner's storage. Other things to note Town has easy access to both ATV and snowmobile trails. Please refer to the local trail maps available. Greenville has an abundant of outdoor recreational activities to take advantage of. Take a scenic tour of the lake aboard the vintage steamship the Katahdin or affectionately known as "Kate" to the locals. Enjoy the shuttle to Mount Kineo to hike the carriage trails or golf one of the most beautiful courses in the country. Take a drive to the B52 crash site or hike the trails at Lily Bay State Park. Rent a side by side, ATV, bike or skis at the local outfitter. Hire one of the many experienced local guides for a moose safari either by vehicle or canoe or go on a fishing excursion. You can be as busy or as bored as you wish! ** PLANES, TRAINS & LOGGING TRUCKS ** The Moosehead Lake region has a lot of beautiful sights and sounds that are unique to our area. We have a large population of pilots that visit so it is common to see a seaplane fly over the property. The Canadian Pacific Railway train runs through town periodically at different hours of the day. The vintage steamboat The Katahdin blows her whistle for passengers to board and logging trucks pass through. The home is a short walk to downtown Greenville so when outside, you can sometimes hear traffic, a horn, or ambulance/fire/police sirens. The Moosehead Lake region is very serene and peaceful and the home is well-insulated, but I want to disclose some of the noises you may hear during your stay.
