We have a hypoallergenic husky (hard to believe but true) and live in our recently renovated home on a 1/3 acre with modern and comfortable design that intentionally considers the needs of travelers. The backyard overlooks a beautiful nature preserve, deep swimming pool and a large patio area with a fire pit. We also have a detached garage gym with Peloton bike, elliptical, treadmill, and free weights. All are safe and welcome here and encouraged to relax in our tree sanctuary:) We offer two rooms for rent in our home, each oversized with its own bathroom located just across the hall. Our travelers will find, in the closet, a mini-fridge, Nespresso machine and private safe as well as other helpful amenities. Also, we provide free high speed wifi, luxurious bedding and a 50in SmartTV that swivels for optimal viewing. We've spared no expense providing a new 10 inch memory foam mattresses with full zippered encasement as well as two memory foam pillows. A 36in desk with a comfy chair, and some office supplies sit next to the large window that has a blackout curtain with light-blocking rails for those who may be working night-shifts that turn into day-slumbers. Our kitchen is fully stocked with whatever you may need and our laundry room is stocked with cleaning supplies and detergent Lastly, we have a detached garage with gym equipment that includes a Peloton bike, elliptical, and treadmill, as well as free weights and bands. You are welcome to all the common areas of the house to include the kitchen, backyard and laundry room as well as the detached garage that has a gym! The nature preserve behind our house is great for walking or trail running. Maidu Park is a five minute walk. The Roseville Galleria is a 5 minute drive and is great for shopping and dining out. Folsom Lake is a 15 minute drive. Downtown Sacramento is a 25 minute drive. See a concert or a Kings game at the Golden 1 Center, or visit the state capitol at Capitol Park. Tour Old Town Sacramento or visit one of the museums, outdoor markets, or galleries in the area. Lake Tahoe is a 2 hour drive, perfect for a day trip to ski or snowboard in the winter, and a great way to spend a summer day hiking around. Downtown Napa is 1 hour away, and San Francisco is about 2 hours depending on traffic. We are within walking distance of a large park, nature preserve trail and awesome taco spot. A major grocery store is also down the street along with many restaurants and coffee shops! We do observe quiet hours between 9pm and 5am. We provide bose headphones for watching TV in those hours as well as fans to generate white noise if preferred.
