The Weser meadows are just a stone's throw away, from which you can start wonderful canoe tours. An external staircase takes you to the upper floor, where your vacation home awaits you. You enter the apartment and your gaze immediately goes through the open living-dining area through the floor-to-ceiling windows to the Weser. Whether you sit on the cozy sofa bed or at the round dining table, you always have a view of the Weser. A spacious kitchenette leaves nothing to be desired. A Senseo pad machine is available for coffee enjoyment. You also have an unobstructed view of the Weser from the bedroom with a box-spring bed. You can step onto the west balcony from both the living area and the bedroom and sit comfortably there. The bathroom has a floor-to-ceiling rainforest shower. In the morning you can enjoy your breakfast in the sun on the second balcony facing east. Each apartment has a car parking space and a ground-level, lockable storage room with electricity for charging e-bikes. For bicycles or e-bikes, use your lockable storage room. Other things to note Bodenwerder is located in the beautiful Weser Uplands directly on the Weser. Due to its location, it offers many opportunities for activities in nature. Right in front of the apartments, the Weser Cycle Path runs along, Germany's most frequented cycle path. A jetty 150 meters from the apartments offers the possibility to dock your own canoe or rowboat or to book a canoe tour from here. The Voglerberg on the east side and the Hopfernberg on the west side of Bodenwerder invite you to go on extensive hikes or mountain bike tours. The Königszinnenturm, the Bismarckturm, the Bodoturm or the Ebersnackenturm can be intermediate destinations and you will always be rewarded with an impressive view of the Wesertal. Bodenwerder itself, as the birthplace of Baron von Münchhausen, offers many sights. Right next to the town hall, the birthplace of Münchhausen, is the Schulenburg, which houses the Münchhausen Museum. The old town of Bodenwerder is always worth a walk, also with a guide, and the Weserpromenade, which was redesigned in 2020/21, offers many opportunities to linger and enjoy.
