This authentic Revolutionary War-era fort (built in 1775) features original hand-hewn logs and a careful restoration (as seen on Barnwood Builders). Modern amenities and updated technology were added while preserving the fort’s historic character. With 4 bedrooms and 4.5 baths across 3 stories, it’s a true wow-factor stay—plus its own private hot tub and sauna. Home 2: The Cabin at White Oak Point (1930s) Just steps away, the charming 1930s cabin offers warm mountain-lake vibes, original period hardwood floors, and a cozy, welcoming feel. With 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, it’s perfect as a quieter wing for couples, grandparents, or anyone who wants extra privacy. The cabin also has its own private hot tub and sauna. Lake access and usage may be limited during this period. Stays exceeding 90 days require a separate agreement. Security deposit, mid stay cleaning fee and trash pick up fees may apply depending on the length of stay. Payments If booked more than 30 days before arrival, 50% is due at booking and the remaining balance is due 14 days before check-in. If booked 14 days or fewer before arrival, full payment is due at booking. Airbnb Strict 60-Day Cancellation Policy Cancel 61+ days before check-in: 50% refund of the nightly rate + full cleaning fee (Airbnb service fee is non-refundable). Last-Minute Booking Verification For reservations made **within 7 days of arrival**, additional verification is required to protect our homeowners and guests.
