Located in the Ségala, "La Palaterie" is a large **** house tastefully renovated that combines comfort and pleasure of the countryside (draft horses, Aubrac cows, chickens, lambs and its family vegetable garden). Ideally located in the heart of the episcopal city of Albi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, École des Mines, the city of Cordes-sur-Ciel, the mining museum, its swimming areas, its Gaillac wines, you can discover the region and its rich heritage. Quiet and change of scenery guaranteed. The space 1950s house renovated in 2023 that can accommodate 2 to 12 people, ideal for reunions with family or friends, retirees are also welcome, athletes, students (near École des Mines Albi), bikers, as well as all hikers or horseback riders. This cottage was rated 4 stars in 2025. It includes on the ground floor 1 fully equipped open kitchen (dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, oven, microwave, induction cooktop, kettle, coffee maker, and coffee machine capsules, toaster), 1 living room (TV with sofa armchairs, poufs), 1 dining room with extendable country table, chairs, 1 games room (billiards, foosball) with reading corner, 1 TV, 1 sofa bed, various games (children and adults), 1 separate toilet, 1 bathroom sink, shower with washing machine. On the 2nd floor: 5 bedrooms with 140 cm bed, one with 160 cm bed and 2 90 cm beds, wooden child's bed, 1 bathroom with walk-in shower and towel dryer, 1 toilet and 1 vanity unit. Plenty of storage, electric heating/air conditioning + wood stove (wood not included). Outside: enclosed garden with lawn and terrace, garden furniture and barbecue, from May 2026 a space dedicated to relaxation with closed and privatized Spa can be offered with small supplement. Private parking. At your disposal: salt, pepper, oil, sugar, toilet paper, paper towels, sponge, dish towels, garbage bag, household products to help you out when you arrive. Please replace what is used for the comfort of the next guests. The property must be left clean and tidy as when you arrived. If you wish to opt for the cleaning service at the end of your stay, the package is 180 euros to be paid upon arrival. Sheets, duvet covers, pillow covers, towels can be provided for (€18 per bed extra) to be paid upon arrival according to your choice, so the beds will be made upon arrival. IMPORTANT: A deposit check of 800 euros is required upon arrival. Either by transfer, check or cash. Parties are not allowed in the house. Any presence of animals during the stay must be mentioned in the booking request and specify the breed, it must be kept on a leash outside the enclosed space (due to other animals on site). We can also offer you pizza evenings to do by yourself except for the cooking which is done by us in a wood oven or rent our wood spit for cooking your poultry outdoors. The accommodation is equipped with Wi-Fi. For your evenings, seminars, family meals or birthdays, small weddings, a reception room (exposed stones and tastefully furnished), fully equipped and accommodating up to 40 people in winter with an interior courtyard (see more in summer) can be rented in addition (contact us). This place remains atypical and will remind you of the old farmhouse of yesteryear.
