You can't get any better of a location than this home! 3 mins to the Bluegrass Pkwy, not far from the most sought after bourbon distilleries, Lexington, Versailles, Bardstown, Shelbyville and just under an hour from Louisville! You'll love the super comfy queen beds, wood burning stove, fire pit, HOT TUB, and 3 acres of privacy on a hill. Enjoy this beautifully updated farmhouse right in bourbon and horse country! You’ll thank me later : ) *** Distilleries do not permit anyone under age. Infants & dogs are admitted, but not children to most of them. The guests will have access to the property, including the 3 acres(at your own risk, including barn). Plenty of room to park larger vehicles, including trailers, campers, RV’s, etc. We also have 30amp 220V hookup. Each bedroom has a queen bed(new memory foam mattresses and new bedding). 1 bedroom on the main floor, and 2 bedrooms upstairs. Note 1 full bathroom on main floor has a deep soaking tub with shower combo, and a 1/2 bathroom in the rear hall… Upstairs, guests will love the LUXURIOUS freestanding bath tub (no shower), for a total of 2.5 bathrooms at the home. Toiletries ARE provided. Including shampoo, conditioner, soap, & custom soap made especially for The 127 Farmhouse! All 3 bathrooms are new and gorgeous! Each bedroom has a TV, and there is a large TV in the family room with wood burning stove. You’ll find the kitchen is fully equipped to make meals or enjoy making drinks! There are 2 living rooms; 1 in the front of the home and the other larger one in the rear of the home with wood burning stove. Ground coffee, whole bean coffee with a coffee grinder, K-pods, creamers, syrups, spices, and teas are provided, as well as a customized goody tray upon your arrival. There’s even doggy treats! Firepit out back with wood provided- (when available in the area) otherwise, there are nearby stores/ grocery that sell firewood . The hot tub on the private back patio is a great way to end the day! Amazing privacy on the hill, close enough to everywhere you want (and need) to go! It really is the best of both worlds! This country home is a quiet place to land after a long day at the distilleries! The front part of the home is 100+ years old, although beautifully updated. The dining room fireplace was discovered during renovations behind the wall! Probably my most favorite room in the home! During the late 1980’s the back side of the home was added and the exterior was bricked. The red barn dates back to 1895! If you have trailers, boats, campers, etc.,the driveway has plenty of space to turn around and park. You can hook up a camper if needed. See above For those traveling with babies/ toddlers- a pack n play available and a blow up toddler bed with “bumper” siding (very easy to use!) **There are stairs without a baby gate. *** We also have toys and board games for children kept in the back family room. If bringing a trailer or camper, there is plenty of space to park and maneuver. We have a 30amp 20V hookup You may encounter a bug or two. We do keep bug spray in the laundry room chest, as well as citronella plants and tiki torches around the fire pit/hot tub area. This is a country setting. We do have the property sprayed each month for added comfort. With season changes different bugs (ants, lady bugs) may come inside. This is very typical. Critters are in rural areas. Don’t be alarmed if in the spring you see a field mouse. The home has a wood burning fireplace as well as an HVAC system. The home on 3 acres sits on a hill. There are neighbors with that distance. The back of the home is very private for the fire pit and hot tub, as well as barn and the field. The 2 side neighbors are a good distance away and hardly noticed. If sitting on the front porch, there’s a “neighbor” across the road.
