The Barn In The Yard

The Barn is located in the middle of a beautiful 50 acre grassland farm just outside the market town of Holsworthy and just 15 to 20 mins drive from the amazing beaches at Bude. It sleeps 2 persons with plenty of space and comfort. Living areas are made for relaxing, kitchen modern and fully equipped, bedroom cosy, bathroom fully tiled, clean and fresh. Perfect for couples looking for that extra special West Country holiday. This home is not suitable for children or infants. The space The Barn has its own private south facing garden, complete with picnic bench, BBQ, easy chairs and hammocks, perfect for relaxing. As well as this you are free to explore the farm as you wish. It is a haven for wildlife and has a farm trail created in partnership with Devon Wildlife Trust. Take in wild meadows, woods, ponds and streams. Watch deer, and other wildlife. Have a picnic, have an evening watching for shooting starts! All just outside your front door! Other things to note The Barn is an 'upside-down' house! Upstairs is the kitchen and lounge / dinner with amazing views. Downstairs is the king bedroom and bathroom. At the front of the Barn is a lovely private south facing garden. Out the back is our sleepy farmyard which is only in occasional use, and if we do, it will be during the day so as not to disturb you. Heating is included October to April (Inclusive). The house is very well insulated and uses underfloor heating to keep the house lovely and warm. During this period baskets of logs for the log burner are available for purchase. Outside of this period (i.e. Summer) the heating is off. Logs are available to purchase should you need them.
