Featuring 3 tastefully decorated bedrooms and 2 full baths, our home is ideal for families or groups seeking a relaxing escape. On the first floor you’ll find the master, with a king bed and en-suite bath. On the second floor you’ll find another full bath and 2 more bedrooms, one with a queen bed and large working space/desk and the other with a queen and twin beds. Air mattress can be provided upon request. Work & Play: stay connected with high speed internet. After a long day, unwind in front of our 100 inch projector, complete with all your favorite streaming. Kitchen with secret butlers pantry: fully-equipped modern kitchen with everything you need. Find a full coffee bar hidden away in our pantry. Outdoor oasis: Enjoy Shawangunk and Mohonk tower views from one of the two outdoor dining spaces, equipped with grill and fire pit. Watch the Mohonk Mountain house fireworks on July 4th and NYE from the property. During the summer months, relax under the oak and maple trees in the hammock. At the top of the hill, find stunning views of the Catskill mountain range. Just minutes from hiking trails (Mohonk preserve, Minnewaska State Park, Peters Kill) and access some of the best road and mountain biking trails in the country. Immerse yourself in nature and keep an eye out for your closest neighbors: owls, bald eagles, porcupines, peregrine falcons, coyotes and the occasional black bear Having a car will allow you to explore the area the best. The driveway easily accommodates 4 large vehicles (no street parking). No car? No problem, take the Trailways bus from Port Authority to New Paltz (15min from house) or Metro North train to Poughkeepsie (40min from house) and cab the rest of the way. Please note that much of this house dates back to the 1760s, some parts are as old as 1720s, so please treat her with care. The floor boards may creak and be a bit uneven, but we feel this is part of the charm of the house. Also, this house is surrounded by preserve. You are amongst nature and with that comes the wildlife. We hope all creatures stay outdoors, but if doors are left open or food left out, critters will make their way in. Please be mindful and do not feed wildlife inside the house or outside of it.
