Broom Cottage

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful cottage in the Highlands of Scotland. Other things to note The cottage which has lovely views over Loch Broom was built in about 1850 and has the typical low sloping ceilings of rural domestic dwellings of this period. The two bedrooms upstairs are built into the attic space and have sloping eaves. We have a good neighbour who is 6 feet tall and who still fits into the cottage comfortably - but if you are over 6 feet this may not be the right holiday home for you! There is access down to the loch and the rocky shoreline from the garden but please note it is very steep. If you are looking for a snady beach there are two we highly recommend both within easy driving distance of the cottage. Achmelvish is 40 miles north of Ullapool and Mellon Udrigle is about 45 miles away.
