The old school house - Double bedroom
The old school house - Double bedroom
Description
Beautiful converted school house (Long stays welcome) The space The old school house was converted 12 years ago and is an upstairs downstairs property. It has a lounge, kitchen and terrace upstairs where the owner resides. Downstairs in the guests area there are four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a back garden. The house is freshly decorated with new carpets. The bedroom has a really comfortable double bed with everything you need, including a Fire TV and Tea and Coffee making facilities. There is also a kitchenette next door which is fully equipped with a kettle, washing machine, tumble dryer, (long stays only) crockery, cutlery, toaster, cooking pans a mini oven, fridge and microwave. Going out to the garden there is a downstairs lounge area where guests can sit and eat in their own space if they wish to. Guests are welcome to use the garden and Summer house where there is ample seating. Guest access Guests have access to their bedroom, shared kitchenette and lounge/entrance. The bathroom which does not have a shower is shared with the owner. I have four big dogs which are friendly but bark at new people so I prefer guests to stick to the downstairs area and access the house through the back door. This means that they do not need to interact with the dogs and it keeps the barking down for everybody. The downstairs kitchenette is fully equipped to prepare a basic meal. There is a fridge and small freezer, pots, pans crockery and cutlery. I do work from home in my lounge most days so am in the house and on hand to help or answer questions most of the time. During your stay It’s great to meet new people and I’m happy to sit and chat with guests and tell them about the local area. I usually give guests space to do their own thing unless they have any questions. Other things to note There is plenty of on street parking by the house and this can accommodate larger vehicles.
