This cozy one-bedroom basement suite is located in a peaceful residential neighborhood, just a short walk or drive from the lively downtown area with grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, banks, and the hospital nearby. Enjoy a road trip or bike adventure to explore hiking and biking trails, Larch Hills, the stunning Shuswap Lake, the wharf, and the bird sanctuary. Perfect for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers, this space is not suitable for more than three guests. The space This self-contained suite offers self check-in with keyless entry and private, convenient parking adjacent to the suite's door (no stairs), making it ideal for couples, individual adventurers, and business travelers. The living room area includes a work desk for business travelers, a flat-screen television with basic cable, and high-speed Wi-Fi access. There is also a comfortable hide-a-bed. If only two guests are staying but plan to use the hide-a-bed, please make a reservation for three people. The kitchenette is fully equipped with a mini fridge and freezer, a hotplate (note: there is no stove), a toaster oven, a microwave, an electric kettle, a drip coffee maker, a Bodum, and all necessary pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. The separate bedroom features a queen bed and a chest of drawers for ample storage. The spacious three-piece bathroom includes a shower and is stocked with soap and towels. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the suite through the first door on the side of the house, equipped with keyless entry and no stairs for easy access. Parking is conveniently located on the driveway next to the entrance. The side yard is available for use when the weather allows, and bicycle storage is provided near the guest entrance. Other things to note This suite is ideal for three guests. If one guest plans to use the sofa bed, please book for three guests. Keep in mind that this is a basement suite, so some noise may be audible, but I strive to minimize it between 8 PM and 8 AM. Smoking indoors is prohibited for health reasons, but an ashtray is provided in the yard for outdoor smoking. Pets are not allowed. Please note that security cameras are installed on the driveway for the safety of both guests and the host. Avoid hosting parties or playing loud music. During winter, vehicles must have high-quality winter tires to access the driveway and parking areas. Despite regular snow and ice removal, the driveway may remain slippery.
