Beautiful and Relaxing Lake Home

This is a non-smoker, 4 bedroom, 3 bath home located directly on the lake on the East Side of Shavehead Lake in Vandalia, Michigan. The lake is a 289 acre spring fed, all sports lake located in the beautiful rolling hills of the Mogador Valley . The house is located 10 minutes off the 80/90 Toll Road and is an easy 1 ½ hour commute to Chicago. The University of Notre Dame is 35 minutes away. This is the perfect home to relax, unwind and watch beautiful sunsets. The space The bedrooms include a master bedroom with King size bed facing the lake with it’s own four season room overlooking the lake and an ensuite bathroom with Jacuzzi tub with shower; a second bedroom has a full size bed; a third bedroom has a queen bed; and the fourth bedroom is accessed through bedroom 3 and is a large loft area with king bed and toddler bed. A second bathroom is situated between bedrooms 2 and 3 and has a tub and shower. A 3rd bath with shower is located on the first floor off the family room and kitchen. The gourmet kitchen is perfect for preparing your own meals and is fully stocked with all equipment you will need including blender, food processor, coffee machine and more. There is a charcoal grill perfect for a summer picnic. You can enjoy your meals on the screened in porch looking over the water or have a cup of coffee in the morning sitting in the upstairs four season room overlooking the lake. The four season room also contains an office area perfect for working virtually including a monitor and printer/copier/fax machine. Just bring your own computer and paper. The living room features comfortable seating, a fireplace, and cable TV. There is free WiFi internet and free long distance calling n the U.S. There is a washer and dryer for your convenience. A 16 x 24 foot sun deck with covered gazebo and bar are located on the water’s edge. There is a large pier for docking your boat. There are kayak's, a canoe and paddle boat for your use. Guest access Guests will have access to the whole house except the pantry and garage. Other things to note We are pet lovers and have dogs and cats. The house will be thoroughly cleaned and shampooed; but it is impossible to catch every stray hair. If you have pet allergies, this may not be the house for you; however, we have had multiple guests with pet allergies who have had no problems.
