Once you pass through the traditional Nagayamon gate, the space before you becomes part of the unique Amakasu Yashiki experience. However, we kindly ask guests to refrain from entering the following areas: • Management and storage spaces Please refer to the check-in instructions for further details. As the grounds are expansive, there are natural stone paths, steps, and some unpaved areas. We kindly ask that you take extra care when walking around the garden, especially at night or during rainy weather. The residence is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. To preserve the peaceful atmosphere, we respectfully ask that noise be kept to a minimum between 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM. The property is a historic Japanese home. As it features delicate traditional elements such as shoji screens and fusuma sliding doors, we ask that you handle them with care and respect. For safety and consideration of the surrounding community, the following activities are not permitted anywhere on the premises (indoors or outdoors): • Smoking inside the house (including electronic cigarettes) • Use of open flames (fireworks, candles, bonfires, etc.) • Barbecues or outdoor cooking • Undeclared events, parties, or playing loud music • Commercial photography, filming, or media use (prior consultation is required) Please note that while smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house, a designated outdoor smoking area is available within the grounds. We kindly ask that you be mindful of neighbors when using this space. The garden includes stepping stones, level differences, and unpaved areas. Please watch your step, particularly at night or during rainy weather. If you are traveling with small children, we ask that guardians supervise them at all times. In accordance with local regulations, we also ask for your cooperation in properly sorting and disposing of trash. Detailed instructions will be provided at check-in.
