Welcome to our Cottage between the two Rivers; where a whimsical Eight Legged Sailor awaits your arrival. Directly on the west side of the historical A1A and just over a mile from Downtown Stuart, one of 'The South's Best Small Towns'. Across from the Stuart Marina and Boat Club and less than a mile to The Talk House, Tide House and more. Go fishing under the bridge, enjoy a sunset at Sailors Return or enjoy our Green Market on the weekend with pristine beaches just a short drive away. The space Our Mid Century Cottage has been completely renovated and beautifully furnished, featuring a private bedroom with queen sized bed, bathroom with a large shower, full kitchen, washer and dryer and a fabulous sectional couch that converts into a Sleeper equivalent to a queen. Bedroom and Living Room equipped with white noise machines to aid in restful sleep, or simply to create a peaceful environment during the day. Enjoy a movie on the high definition TV, or enjoy a good book in our reading nook. Impact windows throughout and two mini-split air conditioners for optimal cooling on those hot summer days. Enjoy dining outdoors in the private garden , featuring a gas grill, large dining table and lounge chairs for when you want to enjoy the Florida sun...in the shade. Noteworthy: For all its wonderful perks and advantages and excellent proximity to Historic Downtown, surrounding marinas, shopping, etc , it is important to be aware that this Cottage is not in the most quiet location. You will inevitably hear train horns and occasionally some live music coming from across the water at Sailors Return. With this in mind we provide white noise machines throughout the cottage along with ear buds for any light sleepers. Your comfort and enjoyment is our highest priority and we certainly understand this old salty sailors cottage might not be a fit for those seeking constant quiet and tranquility. With that said, we are so excited to host your Stuart vacation here at The Eight Legged Sailor! Guest access Complete access to the entire Cottage and private garden, except beyond the closed gates separating the private garden and the Main House back yard. **Please do NOT park vehicles anywhere other than in front of the Blue Cottage** Other things to note Our salty cottage is a gem, but not a fit for those seeking a place that is constantly quiet and without noise. That said, we can’t wait to host you!
