Welcome to Karlsruhe's Südstadt! You live in a freshly renovated three-room flat with a picturesque balcony view of the green residential complex. The rooms are bright, have parquet floors and meet a high standard. The flat has a well-equipped, state-of-the-art kitchen, which makes living there quite easy :) The bathroom is shared with the other guests/roommates. The immediate area is quiet but lively and offers a supermarket, snack bar and bakery The space The accommodation is a flat with 3 rooms, a bathroom, a kitchen and a balcony. It was renovated in October 2023 with a new coat of paint and new furniture, so people with sensitive noses should perhaps air the room more often because of the ‘new’ smell. The room has a 1.20m wide wardrobe with mirror, 10 hangers and enough space for lots of luggage and clothes. Your bed is 1.40 metres wide and has two slatted frames so that two people can sleep well in it. A fold-out sofa bed (120x191 cm) allows two more guests to stay in the room. The sofa bed is less comfortable than the beds and with four people the room is also somewhat crammed, so please bear that in mind :) In addition, the 4 drawers of the bed box offer plenty of space for your belongings. Next to the bed is a bedside table with a lamp. A 1.20 metre long desk and a desk chair allow you to be productive in the room. Of course, there is also WLAN access. There is also a small chest of drawers and a rug. For bookings of 2 - 4 people, there is also a sofa bed (1.20m x 1.9m) not yet visible in the pictures. The bathroom, which you share with the other flatmates/guests, is equipped with everything you need: a bathtub with shower curtain, a large mirror above the washbasin, a wastepaper basket, a hairdryer and the necessary toiletries. The kitchen has been completely renovated and is well equipped: fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, induction hob, oven, extractor bonnet, sink, dishwasher, rubbish bin, crockery, glasses, cutlery, pots and pans, colander, bowls, cups, standard condiments, table and 4 chairs. There is also plenty of space for food. The balcony is furnished with a table and two chairs and is the only place in the flat where smoking is allowed. An ashtray is provided. To avoid unpleasant odours, please keep the balcony door closed when smoking on the balcony. There is a cloakroom in the hallway with a shoe rack and an additional shoe cupboard. Guest access You have access to the hallway, bathroom and balcony, of course. During your stay Lisa and I are best reached via AirBnB by message. If necessary, we also share our cell phone numbers with you, so that we are more flexible in the exchange, should something go unplanned. Other things to note The balcony has an outdoor table and two chairs and is the only place in the apartment where smoking is allowed. An ashtray is provided. To avoid odour nuisance, please keep the balcony doors closed when smoking on the balcony.
